The role of the Chairman is a statesman and political role. A politician is uniquely qualified for it. I understand people concerned with BOF, particularly if they are Labor voters but to have a politician as a Chairman makes sense and at least he is a die in the wool Tiger.Just one sour note for me. I’m not a fan of BOF. I think he’s a lightweight and his naivety in going down for the Grange affair was middle management stuff. Ex-premiers are not gods, they are competent political operatives. Just look at the idiot who’s about to become QLD Premier.
Love all the rest of the moves, particularly Richo but i’d prefer a chair who had gravitas.
