LIVE GAME Round 6 vs. Dragons

Lol @ us waiting to have an 18 year old back to save us.

And maybe I'm just done with Bateman, but I thought Seyfarth was a whole lot more effective.

Not much to add that hasn't been said - Faatape defintely needs a spell. I want to see Naden given a first grade run again.

Versus Penrith would be a good place for Naden to return. Let him loose on Tyrone !

Each to their own. Respect your vision for the future of humanity....and life in general....

I will say one thing. Depth was always going to be our problem. When I saw the team named on Tuesday I immediately thought loss. Lack of depth was biting.

We will be much better next week ( even against the Panthers) with Bateman, Sam Fainu and Galvin back. That gets Seyfarth back to the bench where he belongs (and plays his best) Sullivan, Flippers and Matumua back to Reserve Grade where they belong.

I also think Naden should come in for Faataape. The week in week out is starting to look a little tough for him.

There is no getting around that second half performance, but 3 moments in the first half really put us in trouble. First was Api's missed kick. If he gets that kick we don't have to take the 2 later. We score there and lead 12-4.

2nd was Pole falling asleep on DeBelin to allow and easy offload for Saints 2nd try. Have a look at how easy it was for him to stop that but he just switched off. Inexcusable.

3rd one was Sezer's 2nd tackle kick. Saints march up field to score, huge turnaround. I know many will argue the kick was on because Staines was open, but the bottom line is if you are on a massive roll and kick on the 2nd tackle you have to get a result. He didn't get the result.

Execute those 3 moments and we lead at half time by 8 to 14 points.

Your right on Pole. He had the ball and the arm wrapped up then just let it go. I couldn't believe it.

Agree. I also thought Api kicking it out on the full straight after scoring was very costly. They scored off the next set. Just felt every time we were starting to get in the grind in the first half - and at times I thought we were slowly getting on top - they came up with a poor error.

Theyve rightly got some praise over the last 3 weeks so they deserve some serious criticism for that performance. Much like the trial totally outgunned on the edges and their forwards played with more desire. Against our biggest spoon rival (not anymore) too. Forget the refereeing, way bigger issues in that game.

With the squad we have we need every player to have a 7/10 performance we were just off tonight it was such a lethargic performance we got monstered.

The fact is we are one of the worst rosters in the competition (if not the worst) for size, power, fitness, footy IQ and depth.

For us to win any game requires a superhuman effort to overcome the above factors. And it’s just not repeatable week in week out as it’s exhausting and you can’t out effort your opposition every week in a highly professional competition. We had a pretty good three games and now the tank is empty. This is who we are, and have been.

For all of you saying all offseason we had a top 8 pack, despite my denials, it’s obvious now we don’t. Stef has made himself indispensable but on current form Klemmer, Ice, Bateman, Pole and Seyfarth are not in the top 50% of their positions and may in fact be in the bottom 25% of their positions. We won’t make a mark on the competition until this is fixed and we’ll be doing Luai, Galvin and Fianu are disservice if we don’t. The problem is, most of these guys still have multiple years left on the contracts at good dollars.

The bigger problem is... you guys paying their contracts..... look at yourself first...

We were poor, but I really hate the negativity. My brother was autistic, and he went berserk if the Roosters didn't win by 30 points every week.

But it's a hard game, and the higher you get, the harder it gets. If you can't handle the downs, why follow sport at all? Take up knitting instead.
Because usually the downs come up with ups.

Agree. Nothing wrong with Sezar at all. He’s an organiser, he’s not a flare man. He tried hard today. That’s all you can ask for
Sezer had nothing to work with. Sullivan no help on the left & Ice pathetic on the right. Bula has obvious upside but has to work on providing good ball to his outside after creating space when chiming in on the right. As others have said, Faatape is a work in progress but probs benefit from a spell in 2nd's.
Sezer as desperate as the rest of us to have Galvin back.
