I can’t believe the narrative around last weeks game . I feel like I’m taking crazy pills . We were leading 12-6 when the kid got sent off , and the. Benched our starting spine almost 10–5 minutes later.
RTS , Montoya, CHT, played most of that game . Almost 60 odd minutes . And it was 12 on 12 for 10 mins (actually 12 because the time keeper messed up ) .
Not to mention most of that second half we played our flegg side against thier NSW cup side .
I find it crazy that’s all.
We should go out and do a job against saints . If we do that noise goes away , that you are already starting to hear
 
Shame faataape isn't there I know it was a trial but he didn't look out of place. Hope we see him back asap. Why Toupu ahead of lobb. I reckon punt Toupu hes leaving anyway why put time into someone borderline nrl standard prone to a mistake or two a game. We finally found a winger who can catch a high ball in Lobb something we havnt had in ages. Hopefully he's ahead in the pecking order sooner rather than later for his development.

My take on Benji's plan.
Be in front at half time with the run on side. The full time score not that important as the reserves take over the second half and are assessed on what they contribute. A win is a bonus.
Pole and Twal rotate the Front row.
Second half----Lobb and Willett replace Staines and Tupou
Solomon Alaimalo replaces To'a in the centres
Samuela Fainu and Sukkar replace and rotate second rower Kepaoa
Mason replaces Sezer @ half or Bula at fullback
Sione Fainu second half prop. rotation
Your thoughts. Lets discuss these ideas!

Lot of cap to be out of the top 17.
Is he in the plans?
Is he injured?

Apparently he had a few surgeries early in the off-season so I reckon the club is just being cautious with his return. It seems the club is not taking any risks in the trials with players with niggles or just finished rehab.

I think Lobb will get time again - if he out plays Tupou again they will start him.

You obviously don't watch our games. Kepaoa is a masterful footballer. He is a mixture of Gasnier (Reg or Mark) and Menzies. You can put him anywhere on the field and watch him do wonderful things. I am grateful he chose us over chasing a premiership elsewhere. We truly are lucky to have him.

Maybe not define a season but ive always watched us struggle with confidence and belief which comes from winning. You win a couple trials and theres a bit of lift around the COE especially with the younger less experienced players. You take that small bit of energy and belief in to round 2 and win that game and now there is something that can help define a season.

Haha, I get that he has been beyond average for the past few years and look his miss on the weekend looked farcical but to be fair Steph's effort on the inside was pretty half arsed as well.
AJ is a limited player, no doubt, but I also think he has value as a wide running edge forward, he's a big man, fast and runs with a bit of venom. Use him only as an impact player and he might go okay. If not he's gone by seasons end anyway.
 
Does Kepaoa have it in his contract that he is to be picked in the starting 13 every week?
