Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

You can not stop players earning an income from their own intellectual property.. Would not happen in any other industry... Then let them do it off their own backs ..... not club or player management involvement Bring back the draft , bloody Tezza Hill  Exactly what geo said AND exactly what ...

Re: The Contenders: Fullback

I can't wait to see him (Lolohea)at fullback with open space to work with - in broken play during the world cup he looked dangerous! Seems smart enough, and loud enough on the field to order around his troops in defense, and also seems able to make a tackle or two. Might be an absolute revelation at...

Re: Is it time to exactly quantify the players value?

Simple solution really - Make all contracts public - much like the NFL and the NBA.. make it start from a certain year, so it gets rolled in, and this way within 10 years the league becomes completely transparant, and this way players know exactly what they are signing up for before they commence w...

Re: What Car do you Drive..?

Work Car - Audi A4 2.0T - It's a bit wanky to be honest, but a neccessary evil in my line of work - I was always extremely happy getting around town in my Astra Home Car - Toyota Kluger KX-S 7 seater perfect for the five of us (Mrs Underdog, and the three pups) and plenty of space for road trips, et...

Re: Cronk

I rate Cronk highly and can't understand any rugby league fan calling him a myth. Played in 7 grand finals for 4 wins. Played over 300 games and one of the reason QLD & Aust have dominated. Not an imortal but next level down I would perfer him to retire or play part time for the Storm than for anot...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I don't rate Leilua, because he's always a brain explosion waiting to happen. He's ferocious on the field, but i've seen him cost the Raiders a lot - more and more other teams also seem to know how to get under his skin and set him off. He also typifies downhill skier as well - looks great when the ...

Re: Paul Vautin axed from The Footy Show

There's a certain level of credibility when Yvonne Sampson talks, along with the other members of the panel - Nine really pooed the bed letting her go, and not taking her seriously. Braith (love him or hate him) is a smart guy, and can talk footy rather eloquently, Gasnier has really come on leaps a...

NRL.com Claiming the Dogs have it tougher than us to start the year.....

LOL they have panthers, rabbits and raiders during the same first 5 weeks.

What a joke.

I like the fact we will be absolutely fine through the origin period - Unless the likes of Nofo, Brooks, McQueen or Reynolds get shock selections.

Re: 2018 Draw (rd 1 to 25)

If we can go 3-5 in the first 8 rounds I'd be happy have to say. Roosters, Broncos, Storm x 2, Eels x 2. Thats pretty brutal for any team - playing 6 of our first 8 games against last seasons top 4. It definitely gets easier after that. Can't say the footy gods have helped us this year with that dra...

I actually feel sorry for Fergo in this instance.

You try and do the right thing, and also try to please an old mate, but when you give an inch they take a mile.
