Re: Police reportedly called to Blake Ferguson's home

I actually feel sorry for Fergo in this instance.

You try and do the right thing, and also try to please an old mate, but when you give an inch they take a mile.

Re: Salary Cap

The problem with a points system is that it's completely subjective. SALARIES are not subjective. They are what someone was willing to be paid at a given moment. Do what the NFL does - Make the Salaries of the players public - sure people on the forum might argue that it's an invasion of privacy, ho...

Re: ELLIS KEEN TO PLAY ON

He left at the end of 2012, A year we REALLY should have fallen over the line into the top 8, and given him one more finals swansong...We were in 4th place in round 14,Two points clear of 9th place in Round 23... then... we got Krishian Inu'ed by the dogs, Roostered (who were bottom 4 no less) and ...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

No, not virtuous. In my own way I know I'm being narrow minded, as I can't see outside my own point of view here - however happy to hear reasoning that i doesn't involve either unfounded remarks about turning kids gay or anything beyond a "I just don't like it" Evidence as to why It should be a No v...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

It will be a sad day if this country says NO. You can get married in the deep south of the USA if you are gay - yet THEY get called rednecks, and ignorant hicks. The saving grace I take from a no vote is that even if it's a no vote, the Coalition will go on to be crushed in the next election, and ch...

Re: Wests Tigers confirm 2018 home game allocation

Gosford would be hardly and "exciting" Initiative you'd think.

Looks like we drew the short straw in the "Who goes to Perth for a match" game this year.

Re: Did we miss out on Des

Des reminds me of Sheens. Did something magical with his team and to some degree revolutionised the game...... Once. Then tried to keep going with that "Magic" Other teams got wise. Magic Gone. Rest is history. Reckon we have dodged a massive bullet there if Des' name was even considered - the last ...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

His (JAC) speed is something else. Genuinely the fastest player in rugby league at the moment. Love watching him get in open space, and just like Koroibete before him, Melbourne have the knack of finding space for him. People might argue James Roberts is faster but he's been so horribly under utili...

Nothing would please me more than to hear the Roosters BOOED as they enter the arena, and the Cowboys CHEERED loudly...

Easts can... well - the picture says it all.

He'd be worth a look now as he's the right age for a prop.

Was a baby in the head when he was fed to the lions initially.

https://twitter.com/SuperLeague/status/908646335544307712 You know what else I liked about that shot he put on? He checked to see if the opposing player was ok. A touch of class there. Might have the aggression we need but he doesn't contravene the "No DH" Policy. Will be a fantastic purchase IMHO.

Re: RLPA Awards - 2017

Makes complete sense -

If you have just flogged a team, and were then asked to vote on who was the best in that team - Tedesco, and Nofo would come up every time - they almost always put in and are dangerous irrespective of the game.

Think of it as the "anti-flog" award.

Re: Eisenhuth commits till 2019..

Interesting talking about gaining some weight for next season... Looks like WT S&C see exactly what most of us see in the guy. Massive Re-signing news - IMHO Lawrence and Mcqueen are going to struggle to get starting spots next year the way out currently signed players are going - Aloiai, Twal, Mars...
