Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Thanks Needaname. So if this is what ends up being agreed to, there's no need for us to fill a 30 man squad just yet. On a side note, how outrageous is it that Richardson got paid a salary of $700k, only for him to come up with the ridiculous notion of a platinum league that got thrown out the door ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Opportunity cost I guess. Why waste a spot on idris if you can potentially get someone better? Who exactly, I don't know, but players will become available right up until jun 30 next year. You still need 30 players for round 1. And there's 5 months until round 1. What's the rush? You're talking in ...

Re: NFL 2017/18 Banter

That injury to Darby could hurt the eagles though, depending on how long he's out for. Giants offense stunk last week. The offensive line couldn't protect Eli & wide receivers couldn't get open. They also don't have much of a run game, and Eli is on the downward slope. It'll up to the defense to ca...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

I'm happy with the ref to not let play continue in a situation like the one last night. The refs have to set a precedent for future collisions like that... where it is plainly obvious that someone is seriously hurt, the last thing the players should be doing is scrambling around the injured player/...

Does anyone play fantasy football?
Yeah I'm playing the nfl.com fantasy. This is my second year of doing it. I signed up to one of the auto-drafts and am competing against a bunch of randos

Re: NFL 2017/18 Banter

I have two teams: Giants: The first (and only) NFL game I've been to was a giants home game against the browns in 2012. I didn't even realize till after I booked the tickets that the giants were the defending super bowl champions! Panthers: I did a semester of study abroad in North Carolina in 2012 ...

I thought he had a good year, but I'm not convinced he was better than last year. Looked like he was struggling a bit with niggling injuries.

Re: RLPA Awards - 2017

I say it's flawed because in the team of the year, 9 out of 13 of the players were in teams that missed the 8. Also the fact that Teddy beat Smith to the major award. Neither of those points make sense to me.

I'd rather the peer voting system than a bunch of drunk jurno's and ex boys club players that is the Dally M's .now that's a farce..
The biggest farce is the Clive Churchill medallist. Thurston wasn't the best on ground in 2015, and choosing DCE in 2013 even though his team lost?

Re: RLPA Awards - 2017

The voting system is flawed. The players pick the 3 best performers on the opposing team, so when teams come up against a weak side with a few stars like the tigers, the same players are always going to be chosen (e.g. teddy, woods, nofo etc). Whereas a team that has talent across their side are goi...

Re: Basket Cases

1. Warriors - lost their last 9 games and finished in the bottom 4 with arguably the club's strongest ever roster. Their coach is one of the worst of all time. 2. Titans - the club sold their soul to buy a marquee player (Hayne), and now the club is in disarray. It's as much the club's fault as it ...
