Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Damn ...we thought we had him.. cmon on the gamchanger Would have been good, but at least we were mentioned as a possible destination, it is baby steps for us. No way mate, we were never in the hunt. We're the stopover no one really wants to have on the way to their favourite holiday destination :l...

Tell you what.

Injury to a couple of key Roosters Players, then we'll see who lacks talent.

Crook, JWH, Tedesco all go down and they are in serious depth trouble.
How good would that be

Re: Seen enough

I know McQueen didn’t get many minutes in the top grade trial but can anyone tell me how he went in the nuffies? Not very involved and very tentative..smaller than I remember from the Titans too.. McQueen is the one player I had written off early on. The guy was awesome for the Rabbit's, but we hav...

Re: Roosters salary cap revelation

I can't see how you can be satisfied winning the comp when you have to try and buy it by getting the best players If you are not a Roosters supporter you want them to fail The Roosters Failing this year is almost as good as us tigers winning the comp Either way I will be happy Why can't we have bot...

Re: Seen enough

Fingers crossed if Gamble gets a shot, it will be early in the season, so when he fails people will stop whinging. Idk if i can handle a whole season of calls for a kid whose played one half of a trial. It’s giving the John Grant hype a run for its money. And I don't know if I can handle a whole se...

I wonder if its because Brooks has played 80 odd NRL games and shown diddly squat ... Time to take a ...

If these types of articles and speculation keep coming out about Penrith players they could have a season like we had last year, off the field.
I hope the articles keep coming and Penrith crash and burn this year, will help us no end

Matt Balin - no contest even if he is the greatest bloke off the field ever, he was signed to play- and he didnt.
A JT ego signing, trying to tun Farah out of the club, was always doomed to fail that signing.

Re: Dropped Lolohea faces fullback challenge

Our coaching staff, both Clearly and Hodgo were FB's. They would know a hell of a lot more about positional play etc that us punters would not even notice. I think we just need to back their judgement.. Interesting to read Minichello commenting on Teddy, " He can take his game to the next level, an...

Re: Cleary’s selection shake-up..

We haven't had this much competition for spots in a long time so it's a pleasant change rather than dreading some poor bloke being promoted who you know will struggle. That can only work in our favour, those he don't perform each week get to play reggies the next week. We have not had a coach or th...

Halfback, whether or not he is the best halfback at the club is probably the more important question.
That is the question, and I don't think he is.

Re: Dropped Lolohea faces fullback challenge

Tui will play a lot of games this year. Not sure what the kid has done that has so many against him. Every year there is a forum target, poor Fitzy copped it for 1/2 a decade, this year Brooks and Tui and maybe Lawrence will be the targets. On what I saw at the back end of 2016, Tui was the only on...

18th man if he does not get things happening before round 7.
I wouldn't be waiting that long, and I don't think Ivan will either, he has shown his hand with Tui already, I for one love it, accountability, something we have never had.

Anyone seen Russell..
:roll
Russell told us Tui was better than RTS, yet he lost the 1 jumper to Thompson in our team, so going off that RTS would be reserve for reserve grade if he was here, go figure
