Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Thanks Needaname. So if this is what ends up being agreed to, there's no need for us to fill a 30 man squad just yet. On a side note, how outrageous is it that Richardson got paid a salary of $700k, only for him to come up with the ridiculous notion of a platinum league that got thrown out the door...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Opportunity cost I guess. Why waste a spot on idris if you can potentially get someone better? Who exactly, I don't know, but players will become available right up until jun 30 next year. You still need 30 players for round 1. Whats the chance Woods is staying and I think it would be easy for him ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

This article from the Telecrap, NICK Politis will have to dig a little deeper into his pockets with Latrell Mitchell and his management expected to seek a pay increase at the end of the season. Mitchell has emerged as the Sydney Roosters’ X factor, scoring the winning try against Brisbane in week on...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we don't sign anyone until next year. Why not leave 2 spots for any players that want a mid season release? Parra are leaving a spot open for Semi next year I think that the NRL make you fill the 30 spots. If you sign someone with contract value > than someone in t...

The Phrase "They stab it with their Steely knives" in the Eagles Hotel California, was a tribute to Steely Dan, for mentioning The Eagles in one of their songs.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

All this boils down to one question: Do you think you have the right to tell people how to live their life, and what moral choices they can and can't make? Well depends what you mean by "tell". If you mean "advise" or "declare" then sure, then yes, you absolutely have the right to give your opinion...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

Lawrence, Matai, Stewart, Myles and possibly Green all gone - plenty of room for one M. Moylan. Not necessarily. I bet they have plenty of players on upgraded or backended contracts, the players they released were to be cap compliant. Unless they release green there's no way they could fit Moylan i...

I reckon Dean Pay might be heading home.
I'll see your Dean Pay and raise you a Michael Maguire.
You're Michael Maguire, do you pick the Titans or the Bulldogs?

Anyone know who the four Parra players that are on minimal contracts?
I'd say Parra would be wanting to up these and get rid of Beau Scott.
Any low paid players there we should be targeting?
Mitch?

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

We don't have any big names next year, however our mid to low end players are very strong. I think we'll surprise a few next year, especially well the season starts to take its toll on a few teams. The overall quality and depth of our squad will see us going hard for 80 minutes every game. Aren't o...
