I still think we should hold Ivan in a basement deep in the bowels of Concord for the next two years.
A better place would be under the Glen Morrison Memorial toilets.

We can’t have Madge ‘locked down’ CB as that implies he’s signed a contract. Cleary is legally our coach until 2020.
Well, Manly just signed Hasler without Barrett leaving. What's the difference?
Barrett had handed in his notice, therefore forfeiting any claim to being the Head coach.

I’d love to know the marketing budget spent on this
Most probably a tad under half a million, I guess.

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

We don't need to get rid of him at all. I think the club is happy to persist with him, unless we can come out of this in a stronger position. If the situation was that toxic and we needed to get rid of him, we wouldn't be putting a price on his head. He'd get a release with no provisions, and he pr...

The actual release had us playing at either Campbelltown or Leichhardt. Not sure it has been determined yet but happy to be told I’m wrong if I misread it.
That’s what I read on NRL.com.

I’m just wondering if there’s a case for litigation against Ivan for damage that he has done to our club/brand?

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

1st team off the coaching merry-go-round is Manly. DT reporting 3 year deal for Des Hasler. They’re not really apart of the merry go round. They’re an island to themselves. Who they appoint won’t have a domino affect on other clubs. The merry go round is us, Brisbane, Souths and Penrith. I wonder w...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Exactly what I was thinking he's just 30. Had his best season sense switching to the secondrow. I suppose the question is this His age is 30 Is his body still 30 ?? Going on this year yes. I agree , but players that play in Rowdy's style tend to go downhill quickly As I said though in the next post...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Thought something like this would eventually come out in the media. Link didn't work for me. What does it say? Please copy pasta If they aren't already, things could get ugly in the split between Ivan Cleary and the Wests Tigers. While nothing is official, reports suggest Cleary has signed-on to co...

Josh Aloiai, (this is make or break year for him so?) Luke Brooks, (sign him now) Michael Chee-Kam, (expendable) Robbie Farah, (retirement) Mahe Fonua, (back to ESL) Tyson Gamble, (doubt that he has it but dependent on his 2019 performance) Luke Garner, (this one could go either way) Chris Lawrence...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Yeah I just can’t see Cleary holding the reins in 2019, what a mess and something created because of a personal desire, really selfish to let down a place that gave you a lifeline and backed you 100%. This will come back to bite him. I think this situation has already done enormous damage to Ivan's...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

It seems that the Broncos are in the driving seat and we will have to wait till they appoint their new coach or knock back applicants, before we can properly determine our path. If it means holding on to Cleary for another year the club will have to be prepared to wear the impact of that if the res...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Can i ask a question. Why have we not been mentioned or rumoured to be after Anthony Seibold? If Bennett is the plan youd be better off having Pascoe meet up with Seibold rather going over to NZ to meet with Maguire. The Broncos might move a little quicker if we did that. Anthony Seibold is good fr...
