Re: Pre Season Casualty Report

Spot the difference: 2016: Jason Taylor refuses to pick Robbie Farah at hooker, instead at times preferring converted back row forward Elijah Taylor in the number nine jersey. Fans are upset. 2018: Promising youngster Jacob Liddle may not be fit to start the season, leaving the Tigers short in thei...

I remember when JT was playing ET at hooker in 2016 and everyone was losing their minds. How things change. How come this is in "player contract rumours and discussion"? I mean, I know our 20s sucked last year but surely this would be a little desperate?

Re: McQueen upbeat despite Tigers coach switch

Same as Ballin, right? Ballin was still in rehab at this point in the off season when he got here, and wasn't fit till about round 10. McQueen is already back on the park and is expecting to get the green light for full contact in the next couple of weeks. Not really comparable. What was McQueen's ...

Re: McQueen upbeat despite Tigers coach switch

...and once again the Tigers have given a multi-year deal to someone who, to paraphrase, hopes they're going to be able to play again. The injury was known about when we signed him, too, so there'll be no cap relief when he has to give up the game next July after the injury doesn't respond to treat...

Re: McQueen upbeat despite Tigers coach switch

I dunno looking at McQueen's output in the past 2 seasons is very similar to Lawrence..yet just about everyone has Rowdy in reserve grade.. He was going great last year until injury hampered his form, if he is fit he will be a good signing. ...and once again the Tigers have given a multi-year deal ...

Re: McQueen upbeat despite Tigers coach switch

Hope he gets the green light in January to ramp up his contact work. I like the balance of our forward pack on paper and I'm hopeful McQueen helps fix up our edge defence. I dunno looking at McQueen's output in the past 2 seasons is very similar to Lawrence..yet just about everyone has Rowdy in res...

Re: Tigers legend backtracks to welcome Benji home

Agree with everything Elias said. Most of the people on here were glad he was leaving or dirty about the way he left or both. Once again, most of those people would be happy to see him back in the role he's been given. Plenty on here just want to stick it into Elias without even reading the story o...

I think McQueen could be the sleeper amongst the new lot. He's the forgotten man.
I'd be surprised if he plays 10 games. Heir to the honourable Tigers role of past it pro signed to keep the rehab guys busy so recently vacated by Matt "good club man" Ballin.

Re: Cronk

Cronk's only interested in going somewhere he can win straight away. If he was after a challenge why would he be signing for the Roosters? His agent probably told the Tigers not to bother.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Hoffman won three grand finals with the storm and Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France 7 times anything about the storm in the salary cap cheat era has a massive asterisk around it. even little things like games won by individuals, points scored etc. they're a great club but the fact that the big...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Speaking of Mitch, what a game. Really stood up didn't he. Did you hear his half time interview with Freddy? He was so cocky. Freddy said something like your in an arm wrestle. And Moses basically dismissed him and said he come and burn them in the second half. Then went missing. That's funny I did...

Re: How Russell Packer turned from inmate to university graduate

As i said, he showed no contrition in that interview other than what his actions did to him and his family, then the author chastises his own audience as you are now. Blame grog, blame upbringing, blame society....a person has to have the evil in them to do what he did. Obviously not everyone can s...

Just read the Chris smith And Mel mcglaughlans comments, to say that Rugby League has a problem, is either to suit an agenda... ...and you can stop there. Of course it's to suit an agenda. These people (and I mean Smith in particular here) make a living out of clutching their pearls and squealing "...
