Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Speaking of Mitch, what a game. Really stood up didn't he. Did you hear his half time interview with Freddy? He was so cocky. Freddy said something like your in an arm wrestle. And Moses basically dismissed him and said he come and burn them in the second half. Then went missing. That's funny I did...

Re: How Russell Packer turned from inmate to university graduate

As i said, he showed no contrition in that interview other than what his actions did to him and his family, then the author chastises his own audience as you are now. Blame grog, blame upbringing, blame society....a person has to have the evil in them to do what he did. Obviously not everyone can s...

Just read the Chris smith And Mel mcglaughlans comments, to say that Rugby League has a problem, is either to suit an agenda... ...and you can stop there. Of course it's to suit an agenda. These people (and I mean Smith in particular here) make a living out of clutching their pearls and squealing "...

Re: HAPPY THAT OUR COACH IS IVAN CLEARY

Doesn't it happen to every coach. Does at our club. Because we keep hiring crap coaches. Or coaches who have had both arms tied behind their backs. Cleary walking in to our club when he did with the freedom to paint with a blank canvas would be the envy of most coaches. Definitely made his job easi...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

I can't remember the question asked by Fittler, but the response by the coach was very curt to the point FIttler did not pursue it. It left no room other than to believe the relationship is extremely strained. In saying that, I notice the DT is running a story about the Panthers being under pressur...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED TODAY

If you believe the press he is a lazy trainer and cuts corners. He gets away with it due to raw talent. IF this is true, we really don't want him. Also, I like the idea of a top 30 where the gap between the best and worst player is small. No stars with huge egos! Wasn't that pretty much the same in...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED TODAY

If he goes, it is pretty obvious he will wind up at the Sharks. I don't think its obvious at all. The Tigers are a huge chance of getting Moylan. As for this so called swap of Maloney for Moylan, can't see it happening. Maloney is 32 in 2018, he is going to want minimum 3 year deal on as much if no...

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

I've just had a look at Brooks's stats in comparison with a fair clutch of young halves: Cleary, M*ses and Ash Taylor. First of all, Brooks has played way fewer minutes this year due to injury: 1,300 total compared with 1,800-2,000 for all the other three. So for a fair comparison you can probably a...

Re: Goal kicker needed

Personally I think Lolohea has done enough at least to mean the Tigers shouldn't be trying to crowbar A.N. Other kicker into the side just because they kick goals. He probably won't ever be an 85% kicker but if he can improve to 75-80% - which seems distinctly possible - the difference is actually p...

I just looked at the ticket prices $50.50 for adults!
& people wonder why crowds are down.
Because people are too good to go GA? What is this, Real Housewives of the NRL?

Re: Player fire sale just weeks away

Its an interesting scenario from what I hear. The clubs that seek the cap raised are working with the RLPA as they have the same interest. All clubs also want 130 percent of the salary cap without question. The issue is the NRL can't afford more as they have spent like drunkard sailors. Their long ...

Who's the big fella with the long hair and beard who started playing after origin? He's looked good, not sure if he's been in enough games to qualify though.

Trying to turn some coal into diamonds again. We don't learn from our mistakes. Seriously what kinds of salaries are these kids going to be on? Or are you wanting to pay modest dollars for top-tier junior talent? If the coach is identifying gaps in our roster and signing emerging talent, or talent ...

Old time Newtown fans at Henson these days? Lol... Nice try This would just disillusion a section of our fan base yet again... Something we seem to be good at...
