Re: NRL Confirms 'Brain Bunker' for 2019

Its actually a brilliant plan designed to get a someone decent to run the NRL.The most concussed player after each weeks games gets to do Todds job the next week.Win win win you protect a player from brain damage for a week and Todd can do an audit of the office crayons

Re: Zane Musgrove

Interesting item in Kent’s column this morning. Pre Jerald Hayne incident there has been 28 court cases with 58 sexual assault charges attached, brought against NRL and AFL players in recent years. Not one convictions from that lot once the case was heard in court. So perhaps we should hold off any...

Why have recent US presidents been referred to as, “The leader of the free world”, yet no one refers to Mr Trump that way?
Probably because if he is the leader what does it say about the people he leads?Nothing good in my opinion

Re: Cronulla Sharks being investigated over possible salary cap breaches

I think flanno will cop a 2/3 year suspension...deserves 5 or more for his blatant disregard for the entity that provides him with such a lifestyle many can only dream of Deserves a life ban IMO. Trod the line by doping his players, overstepped it altogether by not complying with the ban. Just kept...

Re: TPA’s

Releasing the figures on the legal TPAs is just the tip of the iceberg, everything that is hidden below the waterline is what they dont address(majority of the iceberg).
The NRL continue to run a distorted competition favouring some clubs and will not change under the current administration

Changing topics, did anyone note Pell has been removed from a Vatican cabinet? The timing is intriguing especially with the details of a big court case for a prominent Australian in Melbourne being supressed.
Yes but he is still the treasurer for the vatican.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

I would live next door to one happy. Not that it would happen as there would be an exclusion zone anyway. And watching your property value fall by half overnight wouldn't be an issue CB ?? Missed the thread, but are you talking Wind Farms? I know the South Australian plan to have free solar panels ...

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

Wouldnt be the first partner of a sportsman to retatract an accusation. The emotional connection to her partner, and the impact on the famiy if found guilty turns their world upside down. You have to wonder if she is also feeling pressure to make this go away. I think that is often the problem. She...

Re: Player punishment for indiscretions

Our sport has people like Wayne Bennett, signing Matt Lodge on the cheap in a pathetic attempt to win a premiership and keep his job. And that sums it up. If a club is pressured to sack a player, it's a safe bet that someone will sign them up if the player is half decent, once the dust has settled....

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

We've got enough props. We need pace and more pace in the backline. There is no way we can go into 2019 with the lack of pace we have. There is no way a Luke Brooks and Benji Marshall/ Reynolds halves combination do anything next year without some forward dominance. Benji to Centre. I think that Be...

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

Absolutely, these low lifes are everywhere. It's a shame the game cops it, but unless severe punishments are handed down, nothing will change. Here's a thought, bugger the second chance. You get found out for beating, biting, glassing, harassing or in any way, shape or form abusing man woman or chi...

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

I wonder if that dope Greenberg still thinks any publicity is good publicity? This is what happens when you accept domestic violence and allow players to continue their career without consequences for their actions. Greenie has been far too soft for too long anything he does now will be a complete kn...

You are entitled to your opinion col and i doubt if it will ever change. The evidence of man made climate change is overwhelming and the majority of people can see that. Re: Luke Brooks

Brooks really is a loyal soldier. With the big four nonsense he stuck around and again now despite being allegedly chased by other clubs decides to stay loyal. Says a lot about the guy and I hope he sees a grand final victory in the Tigers Jersey. Those snakes, rats and dogs(Tedesco, Moses, Woods) ...
