Re: The Ashes

How good is that documentary forged in fire? Listening to the ex-players from both sides talk about that 74/75 Aussie side was one of the greatest laughs ive had in a long time. Thommo was hillarious. I know 74-75 series gets people talking , but even as a young lad I can still remember the 75-76 s...

Re: MOSES,CLEARY & FARAH - join forces for Lebanon

Oooh!!!! if only he was on the road to Damascus. Why are we still constantly talking about a player from another club? Hopefully he will have a diabolical season in 2018 and gets what he deserves. Like anyone who has left the club we all hope they are on the Highway to Hell I tend to disagree Happy...

Re: MOSES,CLEARY & FARAH - join forces for Lebanon

BBF I know you’ve really got a soft spot for Moses but to be honest - I don’t get it. Yes at best he is brilliant, but that ‘best’ happens in one play every 4 or 5 games. He is inconsistent at best. Defensively he is a liability. Also, he is 100% self focused. He never puts his hand up admitting mi...

Re: New NRL and team websites

Awesome, our first 4 games 3:30am, 6:30am, 6:50am and 2am. I thought with the kids all grown up I wouldn't have to get up early for sport anymore. Guess I was wrong. At least we won't have to deal with the heat problem in the early rounds. I had a quick look at some other clubs websites and their g...

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

$400k off next years cap - Could be a 1 million fine - could cost Manly 10 million in advertising??????? All little band aid stuff - the point being, this is not just a scratch. NRL need to deduct points from next year - how many points? depends on how much rorting. If it is good enough to deduct f...

If they are the 4 contenders only 1 of those (Tui) is a realistic choice.Lets hope Tui remains healthy.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Tim Grant saying that while he would like to return to Penrith he remains fully committed to us for the coming season. GOOD RIDENCE. We would need to replace him. Who can we sign? We dont need to replace him. We have plenty of depth in the forwards. Despite saying he is committed to the club i dont...

Re: TAB NRL 2018 odds

I can remember the Tigers being something like 150 to 1 in 2005, thanks very much TAB, I was a very happy Tigers supporter come the end of the season .. !! I was about to post the same thing and I truly relieve we are almost identical to the position we were in coming into 2005. Maybe we are a year...

Re: TAB NRL 2018 odds

Our odds will get worse before they get better.I will wait till they are 100+(about round 7-8)before i would think about a wager. It will take a while for the team to gel but i am confident we will be higher at the end of the season than last year

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I really don't know what Woods has to do to please some people. Over the past few years he hardly played a bad game for us, played long minutes and was extremely durable. On the rep stage he was much the same, okay he had a average 3rd SOO game, but was brilliant in game 1, and from what I saw of t...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Congratulations to the Lower house who have officially legalised SSM :D Also a big contratulations to the public. If there wasn't such a strong push, there would never have been a plebiscite, and it would not have come this far. It shouldn't have taken $120 million bucks It was simple , people dese...

Re: Kent on Hayne

He didn't break a contract, they agreed to release him because he wasn't worth anywhere near the cash he was taking up and was and is a toxic figure. His ego is probably what drove him back to Parra. He sniffed the possibility of a premiership and wants to be celebrated as the prodigal son returned...

This explains the way he played this year. Should have got those problems seen to when they first occured.
True but he put his club and his team mates ahead of himself. The sort of bloke you would want beside you when things are tough.A wonderful clubman

Re: The Ashes

No pitch forks at all. Just think we missed an opportunity to go for the jugular. It was a tough call either way Steve and GNR Imagine the mental hurt if we beat England by an innings And on the other hand , imagine if we lose the unlosable test again :bawling I think we made the right call , but y...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Sorry, did anyone expect a top-quality signing in November to fill spot #29 in our roster? Expectations people. Yep anyone thinking signings 29 and 30 will turn our season on its head are dreaming We aren't the Roosters ,Cronulla etc Probably looking at value for your buck at this stage, hopefully ...
