Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

I agree 100%, our luck would be that we sign him and then he dies next year while we are waiting for him. Our luck? What about Bennets? Maybe he wouldn’t just die! Maybe he’d jumpoff a cliff in frustration at coaching us. I bet a couple of our previous coaches thought about it at times. Better off ...

Re: Our past is killing our future

All can be remedied. The highest priority would be the home ground conundrum, at some stage WT have to bite the bullet and make decision and upset a significant group of fans one way or the other. Junior development requires attention but can be brought around- we also need to make calls on players...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

That's how I feel as well, can't see the drama, it's not like we're the only club at the moment going through the coaching thing anyway, Penrith, Broncos, Souths and Manly......it's all currently up in the air with them too. I guess if there was no drama our CEO wouldnt be actively trying to secure...

Re: Our past is killing our future

The past is the past, that doesnt determine our future, we can change things I totally understand what your saying Ink , but as a possible recruit who is struggling to see a future with our club , the only results you know are true and correct are the past and they have repeated a lot without any r...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Just under a 26% swing against the coalition government. Scomo and his merry men and token women have just had a taste of reality According to Sco Mo only 900 votes the difference now and a lot of postals to count Usually you would find many of the postals in a seat like that go to the Coalition .....

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I get the suggestion that Pascoe was in NZ recruiting a new player , not coach Any word on that ?? Hopefully a big, fast outside back I don't think that's the role of the CEO Either did I but someone suggested it and if we don't have a coach I guess someone with some clout at the club has to get a ...

Our past is killing our future

I can't help to think that the many things that have happened in the past 7 seasons is killing ANY chance of us EVER becoming a consistent Top 8 side It is highly likely that as we enter season 2019 we will have our 6th coach in 8 seasons , even if Cleary stays it will be 5 and the 6th has clocked o...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Deadset, this is giving me a headache. Let me spell it out as simply as I can I would only support someone like Hodgson or Webster if they were being used in 2019 to warm the chair for Bennett. I would not be in favour of signing them if both Maguire and Bennett say no to us and that’s all we are l...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

I'm no marketing guru but I struggle to understand how having a sour, miserable git who always looks like he has been force-fed a turd sandwich would help attract sponsors. He is bordering on being an embarrassment in front of the media. Publicity would have to be the only reason surely? Bennett is...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Fact is - I'd be surprised if he's not in the bottom 4 starting second rowers in the game... And he's our "best"? - I see that as a real issue... Who is better than him ? On the left edge I'd have Kikau, Wade Graham (pretty close) & Tariq Sims (pretty close). I see Lawrence as one of the better edg...

Re: Predict 6 EPL competition is back 2018/2019

WHU dudded again , disallowed goal , and the Spurs English connection falling over like they have been shot by a firing squad about 30 times Really bad injury to Yarmalenko from WHU , commentators said players couldn't look at his ankle it was that bad , Spurs scored minutes after Spurs like Manly ...
