Re: NRL Announcement

I understand people's anger at other clubs never getting caught out , just more proof we need to get smarter at being dodgy My other point is this is why the NRL need to oversee the signing of every players contract AT THE ACTUAL TIME IT IS SIGNED and then IS RECHECKED when it is SUBMITTED and then...

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

Look at it through the context of Hayne's life. No father, maybe bad self image due to being a half caste that was stigmatised in that era as his mum states, were there any good role models for him? We know that some of those housing commission estates are far out. His schoolmates said that he was ...

https://www.canberratimes.com.au/sport/nrl/shane-flanagan-set-to-be-banned-indefinitely-from-nrl-20181218-p50n1a.html I have to believe the premiership victory is tainted now. That he was awarded the Sharks' coach of the half century is a reflection on the values of the club. A real slap in the fac...

Re: Zane Musgrove

I am trying to think outside the square with this and I'm not sure if this is the answer , but if we could get some cross code agreement on the subjects like drug use , domestic violence etc and the same bans in rugby league are also observed by rugby union you could take out players back door they ...

Honestly, it boggles the mind how people (blokes mostly,) find it so hard to iron?

It's not bloody rocket surgery. And like anything, the more you do it, the better and quicker you get at it.
Exactly , Mrs only ask me to do my own stuff , how hard is it

Re: Cricket Season Thread

T20 keeps Test cricket alive? How do you figure? The negative effects of T20 in this country are very apparent with the BBL taking precedence over Sheffield Shield and our choosing to play T20 circuits wherever they can. Money wise it funds Shield cricket and every level below We need Shield cricke...

Could get some quality chants going. That would be good , something to inspire the boys in time of need Should get the Kevin Muscat song out for Ivan. What about the Richard Hadlee , Wally Lewis song out for IC ;) , old and repetitive I know , but gets the point across and is easy for all to learn :D

Re: Cricket Season Thread

Great to see a pitch where the bowlers for once hold the aces. Okay you would not like every test wicket like it, but sure beats the roads we have produced in recent time. Like the previous poster, Paine is a natural leader, pity he career was stuffed by a finger injury. He would have taken over fr...
