Re: You’re dropped!

Think the Huth can hold his head high....Couple of last ditch tackles in the first half were great. Think people just see his height and think he's a plodder, this fella has real ticker imo. I agree 200%. He needs to be part of the future of the club. Criticism of Eisenhuth, to the extent that he's...

Re: It Takes Longer then a year to Rebuild a Club

Penrith gave us the first real indicator of where we're at in 2018. Obvious signs of progress and probably exceeding expectations, so far. But, class will always prevail in the end and we just don't have enough of it in this 2018 squad to be a serious contender. That's not a criticism and i'm proud ...

Re: Benji

Love Benji. One bad game in a while is excusable. This just makes me sad. You can love him all you like, but he has been a big part in losing tight games against Parra and Newcastle, and showed no leadership at all with his ridiculous kicks and grab defence today. The return of the prodigal son emo...

Re: I really think this will help

Who's Garner?

My change for next week would be Lolahea to 6 and Benji to the bench.

The difference between winning and losing over the last two weeks has been Benji's decision making and execution.

Re: Who is the idiot

Aren't they fantastic? Seriously, a wonderful bunch of players who try their best for each other, their coaching team and us, the fans. And, in Cleary, an intelligent, under-stated, thoroughly decent and rational guy keeping it all under control and coming up with the plays and structures that work ...

Re: We must take a Gamble

I've only seen about 20min of him so far, but I'd say he sure as hell doesn't lack any confidence. A spot in the NRL side would need to be managed well by Cleary and others, as they would, of course. I trust what ever decisions they make if Marshall is unavailable.

Will be lucky to get 8 k it is Campbelltown the place where NRL clubs become extinct if it is pension week maybe a few more ... A disgraceful comment. You'll be there will you? Re: Cleary: "Tonight was a great reference point for us"

I think we need to be a little bit careful here. That first half from the Sharks was way beyond what a team in their second NRL trial would usually produce. They were absolutely exceptional. They are touted as one of the heavy hitters in the 2018 premiership stakes. But, that's not to say that, as t...

Re: The good, the decent and the bad

The difference between the service/skills of the 9s was stark - Brailie was outstanding for the Sharks. A huge influence on the result in my opinion. When is Liddle back for us?

On another note, I liked the skills of Tyson Gamble late in the game.

Aloiai was terrific.

Re: Family driving Fonua in his NRL return

Biggest thing I took from that is that Marsters is in a battle for the left side with Fonua and MWZ. Also great to see this idea of family drive and loyalty amongst the playing group this season, they all seem very grounded. I watched the interview on the Tigers website and he seems to be a really ...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

How can anyone discuss politics rationally anymore? Toned Abs showed you can win office by being negative and policy free....supported by mainsteam media, of course. Where did that get us? Or him? OK, maybe a few private, intimate dinners at AJ's joint, but beyond that, bugger all. Well...for him, a...

Re: Rank the Coaches

Ahhhh, the silly season. 4 pages of responses! If the poll was about "Coaches who make me think, Hell they do a god job" ? I would have Bellamy and Bennett light years ahead of the rest. But, does it matter what I think? Or anyone else who's contributed to these four pages?

Re: Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

I think the Sharks will slide, but they seem to have a strong culture down there that keeps them in the game. Ava is a good bench prop who is better than Latimore, so they will get something out of his signing. This whole "culture" thing wears thin pretty quickly. In the Sharks' case it seems built...

Re: Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

Yes, that us against everything, the world is against us etc., etc. can only be kept up for so long. Ricky Stuart cultivates the same "culture" and have a look at how that goes. Flanagan is his mini me. Don't forget he got a 1 year holiday for overseeing a performance enhancing drug regime at the c...
