Re: New chapter in book of feuds

Somehow this is worthy of being on the back page? Read the article and the Wests Tigers never refused it. They were not even consulted. Pffftttt!!!

Re: The J(uro) Curve

An eventual win causes the curve to curve, if only fractionally. Despite the win, our chances of finals football have only gone up 3 points, from 17% to 20%. This shows how important other results are to our chances. A big win would do wonders for our F/A and the curve as well... https://pbs.twimg.c...

Re: The J(uro) Curve

Okay, here are some more stats which are likely to depress... We have been on a 1 week losing streak 112 times in our history, dating back to 2000. Of these streaks, this has continued to a 2 week losing streak 68 times. That translates to a 61% chance of losing following a 1 week losing streak. If ...

Wonder when the last time we had a win streak longer than the longest loss streak for that season.
Here is a list of longest streaks by year:
2017: W=1, L=7
2016: W=3, L=6
2015: W=2, L=5
2014: W=3, L=6
2013: W=2, L=7
2012: W=7, L=5

Wow, that says so much...

The J-Curve took its bye week a week early. It may need to take some more weeks off since it is looking very sick... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DhndaFqUYAAl7Pw.jpg:large Key numbers after 16 rounds: - 0.00% chance of minor premiership (Dragons are 44%, Rabbitohs are 28%, we are the 7th team to reac...

Are the final round of one year and the first round of the next year consecutive? If so, it would have happened many times.

Re: The J(uro) Curve

How painful was it to watch the second half on Sunday? All the hard work of the first month evaporated in 40 minutes of pure bilge. Looking at the curve, it clearly shows the damage caused to our season. 31%... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DgP0qq8UcAE-d0J.jpg:large Key numbers after 15 rounds: - 0.0...

Re: Making your kids fans.

My daughter, on the other hand, is a harder nut to crack. She is now 7 and has been going to games for most of her life. While she loves to go, she shows almost no interest in what is going on on the field. She loves the face paint and cheer girls, but has very little understanding of the game. She ...

Re: Making your kids fans.

It would be a bit rich for me to force it on my kids, seeing as how I changed teams from Parra to Balmain at the age of 13... My son showed absolutely no interest in any sport until the age of 4, when he became absolutely obsessed. The first game I took him to was against the Dragons on a wet night ...

I've only just managed to crawl out from under the bed after Sunday's nightmare. The curve will be updated by Friday. Seems a bit superfluous though, since you already know what it will look like...

Re: Wests Tigers want long-term Tamworth deal

I would have thought somewhere south west would make more sense for us, instead of north west. Could Bowral host a game? Is Goulburn too close to Canberra? Goulburn yes is too close to Canberra. Why not Wagga or Albury? Gundagai? I think Melbourne take some of their games to Albury. Gundagai is pro...

Not to make excuses but I’m pretty sure I read a stat we have the worst win record with these two refs in charge lol, or atleast bottom 3 with both Here are the stats: - Badger: 39 games for 18 wins and 21 losses (46%) - Atkins: 11 games for 5 wins and 6 losses (45%) Against both these refs, that i...
