Re: The J(uro) Curve

TOP 8 The top 8 was also clearly set from early on in 2018. The last round any team that made the top 8 fell below 50% was in Round 10. There were no last minute charges for the fairytale finish this year. Lets look first at the teams that made the top 8, so I can ignore our massive slide for just ...

Re: Wests Tigers head to Western Sydney Stadium

What I think will happen is we will go to WSS for a couple of years and than move back to ANZ Stadium after 2020. What people seem to forget is ANZ stadium is being revamped (with the largest financial contribution by the state government out of the 3 stadiums) and if my memory serves me right, the...

Re: Wests Tigers head to Western Sydney Stadium

So happy that we don't have to worry about playing at ANZ Stadium for the next couple years. Looking forward to seeing what a proper modern stadium feels like!

Re: The J(uro) Curve

Now looking at the teams that finally made the bottom 4, it is little surprise that there was little surprise. All of the bottom 4 were likely all the way through the season. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dm2CpgtUYAA3V3t.jpg:large Of the bottom 4, they were at their least likely as follows: 1. Eels: ...

Re: The J(uro) Curve

BOTTOM 4 The bottom 4 was pretty clearly set from early on in 2018. Lets look first at the teams that avoided the bottom 4, and the Bulldogs were the only team to look in real danger before escaping towards the end of the year. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DmxJ6g1V4AE4-mI.jpg:large Below is a list o...

I would have Brisbane II and Perth brought in ASAP. Then, in the next 5-10 years add teams from Adelaide and NZ II.

Re: Burt Reynolds

His laugh always makes me smile. Loved him in Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run and Mystery Alaska.

I can't believe he was 82. That means he was 41 when Smokey and the Bandit came out in 1977. I would have thought he was 5-10 years younger...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n97wSNIrHpw You might not recognise the Recorder Player on the Left, thanks to his mingy beard, but once he starts singing it's a pretty cool realisation that ya gotta start somewhere on the long way to the top ... Re: The J(uro) Curve

Now that the regular season has come to a close, it's time to look back at how it all panned out. Not just for us, but for all teams. Let's start at the bottom... LAST PLACE Of course, the Eels were the most likely team to pick up the spoon, for most of the year. They were the most likely team for 2...

Re: The J(uro) Curve

And so another season comes to a close. A season that had a mixture of regret, throwing away fantastic opportunities, and yet also a season that gives hope for the future. While we didn't make the finals, we did a lot better than all the experts thought we would. What does 2019 hold for us? https://...
