Re: New chapter in book of feuds

I don't mind Rusty, we need more rich high-profile people pouring their money, resource and pulling power into the game. He loves his Rabbits, he loves them at home, he loves them overseas, he loves them on the Jay Leno Show. That can only be a good thing. The rest of it, the arrogance etc., well th...

Re: RHYSE MARTIN

Looked up this bloke and actually thought “this could be a great signing.” No surprise when I read The Pom’s post. I’m so over our recruitment at present. Sorry for being so negative but I’m just fed up with seeing signings all over the place and we sign nobody of value - MBye being the exception t...

Re: Rugby League is dying in the bush

One of the major problems that nobody can fix is that league is a continuous contact sport. Soccer is barely contact and AFL is partial contact, i.e. you don't have to run and get tackled every play. Parents are gradually shifting their kids away from contact sports. Myself, I played league until I ...

Aloiai - gets out wrestled put on his back 99% of the time for a slow play-the-ball.
? Aloiai for one often punches through the line and lands on his front??

Hooth is the master of being put on his back. Hooth and ET.

Re: Rabbitohs Team..

1-13 are all class. 14-17 aren't. Still a fantastic side on paper. We need to be on. Doueihi and Clark are class and Tatola has been really good this year Clark is class? Cmon, nice bloke, respectable, but very average. Souths always have at least one, like Dave Tyrrell before him. Cameron Murray i...

Re: Souffs FB page sledging

You know what, being genuine for a minute, but if there was any set of club's supporters that I honestly feel can sympathise / understand Tigers, it's Rabbitohs fans. Forget social media banter, they are cut from the same cloth as many of us, and South Sydney has always had a lot in common with the ...

I can't wait until we meet the Raiders, need a win to keep climbing the ladder, have everything to play for and get beat by 50.

Pangai has broken his ankle always a lottery how these things heal each individual is different. TNT comes to mind Su'A did his ankle? Pangai was a rib cartilage. I wonder about Roosters... sure Hall is a good footballer but their last star English winger signing didn't work out at all; I would hav...

Re: **Live game thread**

What the hell is a 60 minute game anyway? Blows my mind why Foxtel bother. They have a dedicated Footy channel that needs content, and they then have to pay someone to cut down the games by 25% to fit into some stupid 1-hour timeslot. Reminds me of the old Channel 10 games that were highly edited to...

Re: Could Have Been Killed By the Refs Again...

Forward pass looked okay to me but it was very flat so a bit of bad luck there. Double knock on was the right call. Dragons knock on and the Tiger knocked it back into him before regathering and setting up the play. Roosters scored two off forward passes far worse than Benji's, one of them the cont...

I noticed it too he looks unfit... Reminded me of Reynolds. Question though - are people saying this because they catch him catching his breath in dead-ball moments, or because he's missing tackles, not being able to cover inside passes, dropping his head in chasing etc? I am noticing Packer blowin...

Much maligned. Always have loved this guy. He’s an asset when fit. Really hope he’s re-signed.
As they say, one game doth not maketh a career.

He was good, he needs to play like this every week.

Re: The team meeting behind the Tigers' Dragons ambush

When are so called journalists and commentators going to stop the fantasy of calling the WestsTigers a joint venture , they are not a joint venture they are owned by one entity. The sooner the club ram this home the better then finally the club might actually find its own identity. Is it not time t...

NRL is much more fast paced. Everyone is gassed on debut as they adjust to the next level. He will come good. Not sure you'd think mcqueen comes in for lawrence with twal back in. Good God no, no McQueen please. He needs to never be seen in 1st grade again for our club. Garner is our future (until ...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

Take away the two that played in 05 and its 5 juniors out of 15 spots. 13 years on and only 5 spots filled by juniors. Thats a massive issue Dragons team this week: juniors = Dufty, Aitken, N'gale, Frizell, De Belin, Leilua (6) not juniors = Nene, Lafai, Widdop, Hunt, Graham, McInnes, Vaughan, Sims...

Re: Junior recruitment and local junior development since 2012.

Yep its 12 v 7 not 12 v 10 Well that's not what the OP asked, he asked how many debutants. And you have your numbers wrong anyway with your recount, because if you remove the "non-juniors" then you have to do it from 2005 as well - Laffranchi grew up in Murwillumbah, Heighno is a Umina junior, Ben ...
