Re: Have your say on the redevelopment of Concord Oval

Surely, given the fact this has been spoken about for the last 5 years, there should have been a plan in place so that it was started as soon as the funding materialised. What does this mean? I assume you followed the link, there is a plan, it's nicely called the "Preliminary Concept Plan". You eve...

Re: Have your say on the redevelopment of Concord Oval

Just start building something ..... All the Talk is making me ill. Current faclities at Concord are the laughing stock of the league, it was even reffered to in an article by Andrew Webster today.. Build concord of campbeltown Webster was comparing Red Hill to Concord. Every club struggles with tha...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

We are an embarrassment. Our preferred options are holding off seeing if they can get a better offer elsewhere. We need a plan e so that we can move forward and sign a coach. Put something in the contract that prevents them meeting with other clubs before the season that the contract expires, punis...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

"I can't believe Pascoe is overseas blah blah blah. Who takes a holiday at a time like this!?!? Blah blah blah" Oh wait he's spoken to both coaching candidates and detoured his pre-planned BUSINESS TRIP to meet with one candidate in another country. What an amateur, can't believe this mug is running...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

There are a LOT of assumptions going on here. The main one being that both Bennett & Maguire WANT to coach here. We could end up pretty red faced. Not really. This club has made us underwhelmed and disenfranchised over the years. Used to the worst outcome honestly. Fire up you mopey sad sack. Club ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

How daft that the article leads that Bennett has reportedly gone cold on Tigers, then subsequently says "an offer that extends his career beyond that from the likes of the Wests Tigers could be hard to turn down".

Way to disagree with yourself. Also posters - where is the reference link?

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

the longer it drags on, it only makes me doubt that Justin & Marina have any control at all. and the last thing we need is to make rash decisions that only lead us to a repeat of the coaching predicament post Sheens. Slightly conflicting there Lauren. I think Justin and Marina are taking their time...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Maybe we've made our decision And maybe our future coach knows he has the job But we are delaying an announcement to make pus gus sweat it out a bit You might be on to something, any hurt we can cause Gus is well earned on his part Why would Gus sweat it out They’ve got choices , and aren’t hanging...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Not sure how signing a premiership winning coach is a disaster but each to their own I guess. There can be no argument that Maguire has a superior winning record than Cleary, in all respects - premierships, total wins, finals wins etc. You can argue back and forward about the strength of the roster...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

From time to time I get some solid mail on the tigers so here it is. The deal with Penrith regarding Cleary is just about a done deal , he will not be at the Tigers for 2019. The Tigers playing group want Bennet but the Broncos will not release him unless they get Seibold make no mistake the Bronco...

If the NRL are serious about any reform the first step has to be to get rid of Greenberg and then subsequently get the players union on board.

The NRL rules should apply to all associated with the code.
I thought the RLPA was already on board?

Re: NRL taking on players' managers

How can the agents possibly have a legal argument to fight increased oversight from the governing body under which they generate revenue? It's like saying you want to stage an event at the football stadium, make money off it, but not be subject to the rules and regulations of the stadium authority. ...

Re: 2018 Grand Final Melbourne v Roosters

They all had offers from the chooks did they? I fail to see the relevance. Well the 18 who stayed may aspire to play at the top but didnt stay here because of that. They mostly stayed due to no other choice. You think someone like MCK would be here if the chooks came knocking? Roosters seem to stee...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

I’m apathetic towards Cleary. Wouldn’t affect me. GNR we might as well continue the discussion here.l being that the other is the poll thread... I just read this and have trouble with it. I can’t belive you are apathetic. No poster here is! Anyway, being that Hasler is putting his hand up for the m...
