Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I have to say that the overall strategy that I believe Cleary has/had planned in that, yes we amassed a plodder squad this season but make gradual improvements each successive year of say 3 x better players each time is good. My concern is no actual announced signings of better players. I'm nervous...

Amazing boot on him.
Naturak footballer.
Great head of hair.
And looks like a super model.
I'd be interested to hear your "Supermodel 17" footballer team one day.
Dunno if there is enough to field a team but LL cool hair is definitely the captain

Re: Coaching circus

Typical Roy Masters, to have something half-entertaining then start making excessively pointed comments about Wests Magpies. Stability only at Wests since the Magpies took 75% stake? Sure sure. No other clubs have have seen 3 coaches in 6 years, so long as you exclude Titans 2014-2018, Eels 2010-20...

Re: **Live Game Thread**

I don't think you can legitimately say this. The club employees want success - it's the only way they stay employed. Continued lack of success sees all coaches, administrators and support staff finding new jobs within a few years. Supporters... not accepted at all. But what are you going to do? You...

Re: Cleary declares Tigers not dead yet

yeah we're toast, just have to hope we at least finish on a high winning the last 2. At least we won't be getting the spoon as many predicted at the start of the year or even finishing in the bottom 4. Still disappointing given we shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times, but I guess the same c...

Re: Proud local junior Sue desperate to leave Wests Tigers on high note

Why do players need to leave a club to get out of their comfort zone?

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

I'd like to point out that Ivan made his position very clear early the morning of 11/Aug/18 and over a week later this thread has grown by 40 pages.

Fair enough a few days dissecting what he said, but what are you all still talking about?

Re: Marshall and Farah

If you cant genuinely see the improvement in this club and this team over the last 18 months, then there is no point discussing this further. On and off the field, the Tigers have made huge improvements and seem to be heading in the right direction. It was never going to happen in one season. To ge...

So if a miracle occurs and we limp into the 8 nothing changes, we're not good enough to do anything anyway.
Well honestly if we limp into the Top 8 that's a better result than most seasons, I'd be more happy with that than 9th, even getting beaten week 1 and knocked out.

Re: Ground conditions

Yeah dewy, a dash of rain in the arvo and a cold breeze. I watched some of the Sharks v Cowboys later that night and similarly the two teams struggled with their footing and some handling.

Re: 2018: Breakthrough Players

Victor Radley is THE breakthrough player 2018 for mine. He's been on the radar but his sudden rise to prominence in an already quality side is commendable. More impact than Boyd Cordner at this time, for a little bloke. That being said I hate the Roosters and hope he gets smashed to ribbons. I think...

Re: Leichhardt Oval the GRAVEYARD

Well the article that says Tigers don't show up for important games at LO is just a truism because Tigers don't show up for important games at any venue. What is our record at Campbelltown? 2/2 losses this year, 3/3 losses 2017, 2/4 wins 2016, 2/4 wins 2015, 2/4 wins 2014 - that's 6 wins from 17 mat...

Re: Packerlino

When Packer and Matulino both played we conceded an average of 14.76 points per game when one of them was absent we conceded 27.6 points per game That isn't a fluke If we had the same points conceded in those 5 games they didn't both play we would have the best defence in the NRL instead of 3rd bes...
