Re: TAB NRL 2018 odds

The people who set these boards don’t do it with their hearts, they do it by looking at each team and ranking them. Okay every year there are bolters and crashers, but If I was setting a board I would also have them close to the bottom, when you compare our squad with most others it falls behind th...

Re: TAB NRL 2018 odds

I love long odds. They are just an opinion, a guess, about making money. If you think it's wrong, get on it. Best thing in the world for a punter is to see odds you strongly disagree with. Worst thing would be to see Tigers at middling odds like $21, hardly worth the effort but not strong enough to ...

Another 3-4 pages of the signings thread to talk about a bloke who left the club? Let us move on.

Re: Kent on Hayne

Everything you have written is as you have previously said " subjective". No argument, most things on this forum are subjective. Point being there are two hypotheses for why Hayne is reportedly on less money at Parramatta next year. One of those is a conspiracy theory involving multiple agencies, t...

Re: Kent on Hayne

Sorry hap...youre wrong again. He is a marquee signing wether you like him or not...youre letting your personal feelings cloud your judgement again Can you give me a list of your Marquee players Ink He doesn't fit my list in any way , shape or form Marquee for me would be your Thurston's , Cronk's ...

Re: Kent on Hayne

Far out this sort of thing fires me up. I’m so sick of the inequity in the NRL. The draw is a joke, third party agreements are a joke, the salary cap is rorted, some teams are refereed differently to others....... and those charged with the responsibility to govern couldn’t grow a choko vine over a...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Sorry, did anyone expect a top-quality signing in November to fill spot #29 in our roster? Expectations people. Well with RTS & Norman wanting out of their current clubs, the possibility of Gutherson or French being forced out now Hayne has returned and Walmsley Being chased by NRL clubs, then yeah...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I reckon Knights have done alright, not great. Ese'ese is a goer but in a strong Broncos pack. Guerra is very definitely on the downhill of his career, though he can still offer plenty of experience, though I personally doubt the pay packet. Moga is hot and cold. This will be his 4th club in 6 years...

Re: Mitchell Pearce

I imagine there's a great deal of schadenfraude being enjoyed by the old Wests fans here. I don't follow. Manly missing out after shedding a player to accommodate him. When did we do this? Was this why we shedded Hodgo all those years ago? Did we shed someone to go for Brent Kite? I vaguely remembe...

Re: Mitchell Pearce

Outside of the 2016 premiership, gallen has been a loser his whole career. One year of success doesn't make up for 15 years of failure I'm drunk and feeling real bitter by the way lol Bitter or not, it is true. I used to have a soft spot for the Sharks because they were a good honest side that just...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

So I tohught I'd give you all a comparisonas that sometimes helps - Tui Lolohea has played 22 NRL games at fullback - our fullback last year Tedesco played 21 games at FB last year so its fair to compare the stats of the 2 Player - Tedesco v Lolohea Games - 21 v 22 Tries - 5 v 4 - Tedesco just in f...

Glad Pearce to Knights, that's how the system is supposed to work, bottom clubs picking up good talent.

I’m no mole and don’t have much intel but I’ve heard from a mate close to the Rorters that Napa is off and Walmsley has already been signed. Just to brighten our evening! Hate the Rorters!

Napa to Knights
Knights buying a team
You mean Knights buying the Roosters bench / Wyong Roos side?

Re: Dylan Napa

I don't know about Crichton. Good first season but I honestly think forwards need more than just 1 good season to become something special. I'm not saying he's worth the punt, but I am saying I don't think he's worth a bidding war. He's pretty quick for a backrower but that will wane... how good are...

Agreed, no stripping motion at all, the tackler wasn't even on his feet, he was almost lying flat.

Re: Mitchell Pearce

I spoke to a friend of mine who is a Roosters supporter, haven't seen him in a while. He said, plainly "I was really pleased when we signed Tedesco off you guys, then Cronk was just the icing on the cake." That wasn't the bad part, the bad part was he then said "we still need a top-line prop to roun...
