Re: Wests Tigers v Cowboys trial match *LIVE,,

I also watched the game last night. Was interesting to have read all these comments before watching. I agree Felise did well but I also agree with Patriot, I thought Aloiai was the best forward on the park in terms of showing what he could offer the team for impact in 2018. Big, hard to handle, good...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The one player we need is an impact forward - preferably a backrower but a prop could work too. One that can get up a head of steam and burst through the line and make a break/half break, and get away the odd offload to put the support player away. We have workhorses. Sue is our only impact forward...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Teo is a good player but a poor human being. No way would i want him here I saw him display a lack of commitment on the field. Not the sort of player we should go near. I won't ever forget the day we got belted by Parra @ Homebush, significant injuries in the front row meaning we had to shift Danny ...

Re: Moses Suli

Hmm, you'd like to think as a new employee so to speak that you would be looking to set a good example for the new boss, but in Suli's case you have to wonder what's going through the bloke's head to behave this way. Exactly what I thought. I could have more understanding if over the course of a se...

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

In NZ when brooksie was coming through we were hearing that he was the next andrew johns. I suppose anything can happen but looks like that calls gonna fall short of the mark. Was there any credibility around this when he was 16-17 though? If so what happened? The club overpaid him by miles, they p...

Re: Worth the weight? Jack Bird’s pledge to Broncos

I dunno look at Sam Thaiday, Fifita, Lolo... plenty of players carrying some extra tub and can still play alright. Don't all have to be shredded, as long as they do their job.

Re: Wests Tigers name five co-captains

Club would 100% choose Chris Lawrence if we could be 100% sure he'll be in the team each week. But we aren't sure, so he can't be captain by himself. You can't be putting your captain in reggies without some massive fall from grace.

Re: Dib lifts lid on moses, tedesco and woods

Dib has been punted. Only current board member to retain position is Steve Mortimer. Who else saw Mortimer add a stack of Grit to our team when he was personal trainer. I think he came in 2011, either way he seemed to do a stack to build the young guys up. Not sure if he still had the enthusiasm an...

"Keys" to the bus? We not using the bus metaphor anymore? Don't think we have a NRL KIngdom.

Re: Anti Tampering Laws

You would be very naive if you believed approaches weren't made to players all the time regardless of whatever 'rule' the NRL had in place.. Well I for one firmly believe players are only ever approached under the existing rules, and the NRL's guidelines are firmly upheld by player managers. I also...

Lolohea Nofo Milne Fonua MWZ Reynolds Brooks Twal McIllwrick Packer Lawrence Taylor Eisenhuth Marsters Aloiai Rochow Matulino This is a good team. Its not a bad side but the second row is weak. Those two wouldnt claim 100 meters a game between them. Our kicking is not good enough to cover for the l...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The club should care what is said on here We are it's supporters Without it's supporters it won't exist I would be surprised if someone in the Wests Tigers media department wasn't looking at this forum and gauging how we perceive their current performance Its a good way of the club looking at what ...

Re: The 'other' Watene-Zelezniak set to roar for Wests Tigers

MWZ is behind Nofo and Fonua in my opinion, but I think he's as good as Kev; slightly different skill set. No dramas at all calling him in for injuries.

It's curious to me that I've hardly seen anything said publicly about how Taane Milne is going; I would be guessing he's first-choice centre?

Re: Dib lifts lid on moses, tedesco and woods

I believe the statement regarding the 3 muscateers is correct. Hasler was a fan of brookes though and may have been talked out of it. Make of that what you will. When you mentioned the 3 Muscateers I thought that you were talking about Dib, Politis and Greenberg. Musketeers, as in the rifle. Unless...

Fonua is 182cm wide... :? Well, the player profiles do exaggerate a tad. More like 176 cm by my reckoning, if measured across the biceps. Michael Phelps is a wide human. body proportions are given below: Height: 1.93 meters (6.4 ft) Weight: 88 kilograms (194 lbs) Wingspan: 2.03 meters (6.66 ft) Fee...

Re: BIG signing coming soon

Let me commit to you all, if I ever find out from someone "in the know" about a potential signing, I will name the player and not have this 18-page waste of time where we all guess about the focal point of a totally unsupported rumour. I don't care if this is legit or not, stop playing games with yo...
