Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

When it was first announced, we were hopefully going to move there in 2019. Now Pascoe is talking about 5 yesrs in the Q&A video.
If we have $37mil committed to the project apart from the State govt money it shouldn't take 5 years to build.

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

I think Pascoe needs to tell us why he failed to secure the funding from the government. The money was there and has seemingly gone to other clubs. Why? Something, something, working with all levels of governments, something, something, working towards it doesn't cut it as an answer. I know what yo...

Re: Brooks keen to link with Reynolds..

He needs to run more often when we're inside the other teams 15. All he ever does is pass it to Rowdys hip. Tui woud be more effectual as our playmaker on the left.

Re: CEO Update - Justin Pascoe..December..

The funding of the stadiums and COEs was coming fro. the same pool of money. I can see why the govt would be willing to give money to clubs that will be full-time tensnts at those stadiums. I sure don't. Seems like double dipping to me! "Here's a brand spanking new stadium for you to use. Oh and he...

Re: CEO Update - Justin Pascoe..December..

Don't see how a home ground and COE have any connection. We have far more valid claims for funding than almost every other club in the league, especially compared to the likes of the Roosters and Souths who already have state of the art facilities! The funding of the stadiums and COEs was coming fr...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I pick up Brad Arthur’s dad regularly on the bus, he confided that Brad Arthur really rates Suaso (Jesse) Sue and will be making a desperate bid to get him over to the Eels. This doesn’t really worry me, I think Sue has had years to bulk up but whilst super fit is not big enough to make a big impac...

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

Our club will always be on a hiding to nothing as we are not influential enough. We don't have the sway nor do we have the political know how to influence the decision makers. The above is not the issue this time. The issue is clubs like us and manly proposed the wrong model. We thought too big and...

Re: MOSES,CLEARY & FARAH - join forces for Lebanon

BBF I know you’ve really got a soft spot for Moses but to be honest - I don’t get it. Yes at best he is brilliant, but that ‘best’ happens in one play every 4 or 5 games. He is inconsistent at best. Defensively he is a liability. Also, he is 100% self focused. He never puts his hand up admitting mi...

Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

If the NRL want to regulate TPA's in a fair way then they should be arranged through the NRL and not the club. The players are entitled to earn whatever they can, that isn't the issue. The issue is with clubs organising the TPA to subsidise salaries. If a TPA really is from a third party and indepe...

Visions of Politis doing the Jedi mind trick on Greenberg.

"There is nothing wrong with the TPA system"

"It can stay the way it is"

"The clubs can go about their business, move along..."
These arent the brown paper bags you're looking for.
Move along.
