Re: Magpie Power Banner - Where is it?

What's at Lidcombe on Saturday? Theo, have you been living under a rock champion? :P The Magpies are 'Returning To Lidcombe' taking their Round 1 VB NSW Cup game against the Silvertails. Theo, Shane, bring your old Black & White flags gentlemen. Spread the word, it's going to be a great day, full of...

Re: Magpie Power Banner - Where is it?

Thanks for feedback gang. Scheuy, that's the bloke (God Bless His Soul). Smeg, you say you know as to the where abouts of the 'Tiger Power' sign which was originally Scheuy's. Any chance of finding out where his 'Magpie Power' Banner is? Is there any link or contact? Would love to get it and use it ...

Magpie Power Banner - Where is it?

Hi all, I'm on a mission to track down a Banner from the 90's. An old Western Suburbs supporter who had the nick name 'Old Father' who used to reside in the Macarthur region used to raise it proudly at Magpie games throughout the 1990's. Re: Tigers vs Eels LIVE GAME THREAD

Fi Fi Box's workrate was brilliant. Did a lot of defence. Galloway snotted almost everyone that ran his way. Tagive was solid, showed good confidence under the high ball. Brown too was strong from the back. Good hit out by Woods too. No injuries, that's all I wanted. Improvement needed? Hell yes. th...

Re: When is the Wests Magpies AGM ?

I too, would like to know. There has been next to no correspondence from the Football Club Board or Management. I have to re-new my membership, yet I'm oblivious to who is now dealing with Football Club Membership renewals as there is an interim-General Manager in place with no other administration ...

Re: THE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS?

It's simple. If the Dragons win tomorrow, it'll be their FIRST Premiership. End of story. Their supporters are the biggest bunch or ignoramus' you'll come across, failing to acknowledge the club they support was founded in 1999. Massive denial

Re: What needs to change in 2011 to win the big one

- Luck with injuries. - Fitness at the back end of games. Wests faded away in too many games at the back end of the year. Souths, Parramatta, Easts, Canberra just to name a few heart stoppers. - 4 Forwards on the bench - Mental resolve; possessing the hunger, desire and determination to go one bette...

Re: Rules you would like to change

1). Stripping Rule - 'if you can't hold on to the ball, then you don't deserve to have it'. The amount of drop ball through loose carries, blatant drops balls and acting to influence a penalty and an overall lack of respect for the ball is an absolutelt disgrace. Time to go back to the future and ma...

Re: was noyce right?

60-40 to Illawarra easily. The Dragons fans turned up in numbers in the hope of extracting revenge from 2005. They all wanted a piece of the action. Damn it would have been sweet to have seen Wests once again push the dagger a little deeper from the open wound that the Tigers opened some 4 finals ca...

Re: No tears

Too angry and too proud to cry. There was no expectation for Wests to win the comp or beat Illawarra last night. Had the Tigers been in the Dragons shoes where you've been the most consistent side for 2 seasons and fallen short once again, then i think there would have been tears and plenty of them,...
