Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

It means he could lose $200,000 on the contract and it puts the entire move in jeopardy. “James Maloney actually got himself in trouble there ... he came out the other day and said he’s waiting on the club to organise a third-party deal to come through,” Kent said. “It can’t be club-driven, it has ...

Re: Mitchell Pearce

Frontloading jirskyr. Theyve been building for a premiership this year or next, that much is clear. They had that really thin year a couple of years ago. As sheens put it when we had our tilt in 2010/11. A watershed year. The problem is, we did it with backloading!! We should throw some money at th...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

5 years ago this thread would be 150000 pages and locked by now. 4 pages and very few snarky comments leads me to believe that either: 1/ the joint venture is being embraced by all fans or 2/ hardcore balmain or wests fans have wandered off into the sunset EDIT: at one point I have to put my hand u...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

Meh who cares? The whole things a dogs breakfast these days...mass confusion is the NRL pathways system... Pretty much most NRL clubs reggie side is a totally different club altogether....I wonder if anyone knows them all off by heart/without research? ... then there are the Qld Cup teams linked to...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I really liked Grant's last few games this year. I would like to see him put on a few kg's around the thighs and get more leg drive. He's just short of potentially being our most damaging forward...someone who can break thru the first line and offload. He's a smart footballer. Packer is a good sign...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I remember when Benji first came down. I was up the central coast walking on the beach. I am not kidding, every kid on that beach was doing the Benji sidestep. This happened everywhere. Footballers are role models. No doubt. That's called Idolising Col.. Mmm interesting Below is from the Cambridge ...

Re: WestsTigers 2018 Backrow

I think ET is a bit light for the 13. I felt we were more solid with Eisenhuth there. x2. I like having Taylor on the edge. Or could be a handy 9 if need be. I have a feeling that Liddle will be the starting hooker, if fit. Cleary will follow the Kiwis example and use ET as DH if the starting hooke...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

RTS wants out definitely I hear WT are long odds. Most likely he’s going to Rugby. Won’t be at the Warriors. That's the sad thing about all of these speculation threads on the good players that are now available - WT are always at long odds! I read them every day, hoping for some news of a breakthr...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

It's easy to forget the guy is 26. Long past discussing potential. That said, he's probably as good as he'll ever be. He's always been inferior to Tedesco and has never stood up at rep level. Being the dominant playmaker in the last 40 minutes in his last origin resulting in a NSW win is stranding ...

Re: Our immediate future

We were very competitive towards the end of this season so I see us being better next season with the improved roster we have. Half of this season was sabotaged by the “lousy three”. For the latter part of the season we had a reserve grade NZ winger playing five eight and a crippled half back with s...

I'd like for us to pick up Thompson from the Dragons. His work rate and will to win is what we need.

Members jersey

The members jersey looks great, very similar to our double header jersey of a few years ago I think. It doesn’t appear to haver the word “member” on the jersey though which is a bit strange.

I wasn’t going to get another jersey but I may change my mind with this one.

You would think that Pearce’s SOO place is now in jeopardy seeing his own club is now convinced he fails in big games.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

They got rid of Brad Abbey so they are sweet... But are getting Clay Priest from a trade deal so they've effectively haven't cut anybody yet they expect us to believe that puts them under.... Thats because they couldnt offload Eastwoods massive backended contract and he decided to stay. Well ...

Re: Heartland needs love

I think you can forget about suburban grounds going forward. The NSW govt have played their hand with their stadia strategy so I don't think that there will be much money available for suburban ground upgrades. The NRL always seem to follow the AFL albeit a few years later so look at their home grou...

Pretty much same-o, same-o from the usual suspects on here. No new arguments at all. What interests me is how the NSW govt's stadia strategy will eventually play out. The govt tried getting consensus from clubs with the Wests Tigers agreeing to play the majority of their games out of the new ANZ . ...
