his missed tackle stats for a half are pretty good
I thought the same and from what I have seen he is not afraid to mix it with the big boys. Certainly ten times better than that other 6 we had in defence

Re: Roosters Squad..

Over the past ten years they have destroyed us in the forwards, I still have night mares thinking of big FNP ripping right through on a ugly day at Leichhardt. Anyway we actually have a pack that might slow them down a bit, but the back line looks very ominous.

Re: James Graham

We need players on the up or at least at the top of their game as we have a handful of players who can play the experienced or mentor card. Graham, loved him at his peak and seems like a great bloke to have at your club, but he over the hill sadly

Re: Realistic team list round 1 2018

Liddle Will be the no9 if his shoulder is okay and I would imagine Reynolds will be the player to give him a break with Benji being the no14. Killer has had a great year, but Liddle is a better all-round no9 and is only going to get better

Re: Chemist Warehouse Injury Report: Round 24

Taylor certainly had plenty of faults but he did a good job in overhauling our strength and conditioning dept. We have had two good years touch wood with injuries compared to most clubs and to have about four gone for the year with three rounds to go is not bad

Re: **Live Game Thread**

Was at the game and most of the 80 minutes I thought we were getting shafted by the refs and thought we played without luck, than to jag a win was such a great feeling. Came home and watched the replay on fox, and thought we actually got a few calls go our way especially in the second half and altho...

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

He still struggles with his 5th tackle options, or getting in position to make a 5th tackle play, but hey he has improved out of sight over the past month

Re: The Benji 2018 Poll

Iam all for giving Benji a one year deal, but I see his value as a mentor and a player who can be called on when injuries strike or poor form and I think you will see plenty of both. I certainly don't see him as the mesiah but I think it a real positive signing. His goal kicking alone might make it ...

Re: Player fire sale just weeks away

Its an interesting scenario from what I hear. The clubs that seek the cap raised are working with the RLPA as they have the same interest. All clubs also want 130 percent of the salary cap without question. The issue is the NRL can't afford more as they have spent like drunkard sailors. Their long ...

Re: Player fire sale just weeks away

For the past three years we have been playing with one hand tied behind our backs due to the mess our previous management got us into with the salary cap. We took our medicine and made some hard calls, had some lean years and now we have come out the other side ready to be able compete on a level pl...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Benji would be a smart move, great marketing tool, probably better than any other 6 or 7 we have on our books for next year and can kick goals. Not sure if he would stand up to the rigours of 26 rounds of NRL, but I think well managed he could do a job for us. As for Rockow, would not be my choice, ...

Re: Homeless tent city in Martin Place..

I do voluntary work on a food fan in the area and have been for a few years now and let me tell you there are plenty of very needy people out there with massive problems, but there are also plenty of people who jump on the band wagon and put there hands out to grab anything free because to them it i...

Re: Brooks is no good

Still think Brooks is being hampered by dicky Hamstrings. He just doesn't seem confident in stretching out or extending his leg when kicking. Could be 100% wrong, but just my impression. I remember in the u20s he kicked a bag of 40/20s, but they have been few and far between in the top grade, okay i...

Re: Player stats from today

It all comes back to our kicking game, both in defence and attack it is poor. Improve the kicking game and we will be competive. I have a funny feeling Brook's hammys are restricting his long defensive kicking game and there is nobody else capable of doing that role For next year, Reynolds has a go...

One average game from Woods and some people here want the bus to run over him like a speed hump..go have a look at the 3,2,1,s over the last few weeks, he's been up there as one of our best players nearly every week.
