Re: Dropped Lolohea faces fullback challenge

Tui will play a lot of games this year. Not sure what the kid has done that has so many against him. Every year there is a forum target, poor Fitzy copped it for 1/2 a decade, this year Brooks and Tui and maybe Lawrence will be the targets. On what I saw at the back end of 2016, Tui was the only on...

Re: Dropped Lolohea faces fullback challenge

Looking at our draw Tui might b e better off long term playing reserve grade for the first month or so. I still say he is our best option for the no1 job by some distant, but once again it is very hard to fault Cleary

Re: Team Announcement – Trial Match v Cronulla Sharks

Tui missing out has to be a discipline thing, he is the only one that comes close to having the X factor. I would also have Milne with Masters in the centre. As for only being a trial, except for a few injured players to come back, this will be our starting side come round 1...Scary

Re: NRL 2018 predictions: Fox Sports experts give their tips for the season

I think if you asked 99% of NRL followers the same questions, but told them they had to excluded there own team they would come up with much the same answers as the fox panel did. Anything outside a Storm.Cowboy, Chooks or at a pinch the Sharks Grand final win will be a massive boil over. As for us ...

Re: Mitchell Pearce

Going to be a few years before we have a marquee player signing on the dotted line, said it a million times, the so called top players are lured to a club for more than money. So how did Newcastle manage to land his signature? Sure they've recruited well, but so have we. Our coach is more competent...

Re: Tyson Gamble

Ok I saw a bit of him QLD cup and he went pretty good, but since last Saturday night I have posters say they remind him of a young Fittler, a young Lockyer and now Tom Humble. Another said they would not be surprised if he played SOO in a few years. I love optimism, but its a massive step up from QL...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The problem with both the comparisons of TPA's is it only factors in the NRL approved ones. The RLPA is zero chance of agreeing to access to players financials. The only way to develop system is a points system... While money is involved, there will ALWAYS be corruption! 100% agreed.....There are a...

Re: Tyson Gamble

He will get the odd game in the top grade covering injuries, but the way I see it Benji will be the first called up to cover Brooks and Reynolds and Nagamia will cove Tui. So unless the wheels fall off big time, I cant see him getting to much NRL game time. We have seen the damage done before by rus...

Just trying to lift the spirits of everyone To many negative people If the Wests Tigers supporters continue to bag our own team what what hope do we have What message is that sending to the star signings we are looking for All of my posts have been about trying to be positive towards the team I don...

Re: Honest assessment on 2018

If we make the eight I'm flying to Sydney to have drinks with all the positive people on this forum who believe we can make the 8 Those negative forum'rs can pay for our drinks Now who's in It’s not about being positive or negative, it’s about being realistic. Bookies don’t always get it right, but...

Bottom 4
Out of curiosity, what makes us weaker than sides like Souths, the Dogs, the Titans and Warriors?
Negatives
1 kicking game
2 spine
3 speed
4 virtually a whole new team to gell together
5 goal kicking
6 lack of a X factor player
7 draw
8 5 home grounds

Positives
1 Cleary

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

It’s been mentioned many times that this is a forum and everyone has an opinion. No argument here. However, it appears some opinions are more important than others. The other thing that stands out on here is that some posters just have to have the last word, I’ve seen disagreements go on for many, ...

Tigers got this one right.

Bulldogs appear silly.
Iam sure the Dogs would have put some special clauses in his contract. Also coming down hard on him early might be the way to go rather than the softly softly approach. Be interesting to see where he is in 12 months time

Re: Wests Tigers name squad for Cairns trial match

Heard J Reynolds going to have possible game time in the hooking role at some point during the game. All this talk of Taylor Reynolds and who ever playing the no9 role suggests to me that Liddle is still a way off playing and his trip to Cairns is a bonding exercise. Although in Reynolds case, if t...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

So with the kid been elevated to the top 30, that only leaves one seat on the bus and I guess one baby seat to replace the one, the kid was in. You would imagine this contract was at the lower end of the scale, so that should leave a healthy amount to direct at no 30 and this also could be related ...
