Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Just interested, it was reported late last week Pascoe had to go via Auckland on route to the states. It was also rumoured at the time it was to either talk to or sign up a kiwi. Anyone have any info if there is a phantom kiwi coming to Concord and if so who.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I might get crucified for this but I honestly think we should target Hayne. I think he is exactly what we need. His back end of the season was really good. We do need a centre and someone of his calibre and his valuable experience is too hard to turn down. Thoughts?? I also heard he is being target...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Manly look like they have fixed there Coaching position with Hasler to take over , announcement in 1 hour Hasler although excentic and his recent efforts as a coach would have plenty of people scratching their heads, but he will be a good fit for Manly in there present mess. When you look at the pl...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Bottom line Penriths window of winning the comp is probably the next couple of years, than it may close. So do you think they will risk a rookie in charge. I don’t think so, okay Cleary’shas not won a comp, but he is a experienced campaigner, who knows how to handle all the crap that goes with coach...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

I agree smart request by the board. Penrith basically started all this crap, and okay it might not have been illegal but it was certainly unethical. The question is, how badly do they want Cleary and at what price. I think IC would be willing to throw some of his own money towards getting a release,...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

You believe in Santa Clause if you think Cleary can get the job done for part of all of his remaining contract. Of course he turn up every day with his clip board and go through the motions, but to build on this years work, no way. The club knows it will not work and so do all the stakeholders, and ...

Re: Our past is killing our future

Home grounds, facilities and coaches I guess all play a part but the biggest thing we lack is success on the paddock. The problem it becomes a classic case of catch 22, without success it becomes very very difficult to become successful. We are not the only club, take Parra they have thrown a truck ...

Re: Round 1, 2019

Round one at Cambo v the silver tails is a good way to start the season. No easy games in the NRL and first 6 rounds anything can happen. I think Manly with all the drama of this year and a new coach in Des could be the big improvers in 2019 so it will be a test for our mob

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

It would be great to be talking about some quality player signings, but all we have to speculate on is who will coach our reasonably average roster.

Anyway all the cards will fall next week and the mystery will be over

Re: New coach.. Who should we target?

When we signed Ivan was he the best coach on the market at that time ? Yes i believe so. We need to sign the best thats available now! If we wait and ponder the best will go to other clubs. Word out of Brisbane is its down to 2 Madge or Kevvie. With a strong push for Madge! Where does that leave us?...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

I want to hear lesss from Benji. whilst ill always love him Benji's attitude has always been fairly cringe worthy. ill never forget in 2012 when he went on the footy show saying he cried when chris heighington/beau ryan said they were leaving. he then said 'playing footy isnt all about winning and ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Benji lastest media offering was all about having a dollar each way on the field. He loved uncle Wayne, he loved Cleary and held a lot of respect for Madge. He has it all covered unless there is a real outsider in the frame, and if push came to shove he would probably love them to

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

sign Madge for 4 years and put all the speculation to bed. Uncle Wayne although obviously a top coach, is a traveling side show and we need a bloke without whistles and fan fare. In a way similar to Ivan. a quite achiever and we need a bloke long term. Basically we need this put to bed and the last ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

I canned my auto renewal. Wanted to have a think about it. Always be a red hot Tigers man , but I am not sure I have the energy to commit for a full season especially if we have a coach who wants out and a sqaud of mainly plodders and penioners Nah, sorry, no you're not. If your support is conditio...

Re: NRL taking on players' managers

If we can get scum like Issac Moses out of league I am all for the NRL pushing ahead with their reform. Be interesting if the NRL get their way, if a few teams start to struggle all of a sudden with their recruitment
