Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Think Rona will definitely be on the market sooner rather than later.Cheika has boxed him in as a Super Rugby player..no more and no less..with a long line of injured players well in front of him...and he really didn't take the opportunities when they were presented. so barring a miracle(and a bunch...

I have never rated Tamou at all and Merrin is not what we need.Hope we dont get either
Tamou and Merrin were both genuine SOO players 3 or 4 years ago...but now both past their used by date.Just coasting, poor hands, lazy. No thanks.CNH was the one we needed...

Re: Ryan Matterson

Some are a bit ignorant of his talents. Could be the best forward signing we've made in a while. Apparently being let go to make way for Crichton on stupid money means he's a fringe first grader. Pretty bloody versatile player to have on the books. Hes a fringe first grader because thats exactly wh...

Re: Ryan Matterson

Id pay 50% more for TPJ who can actually influence a game tbh.
Dunno how we'll ever make the top 4 if other teams pinch our best players and we hire their discards(2 in a week from Easts)..has it really come to that?

Re: Luke Brooks

If Brooks won Dally M this year it wld totally diminish the credibility of the award forever!
Hes barely 1st grade standard 3 weeks out of 4,and in the past month or two he been reducing that average!!

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Matterson is too slow for a back, and more of the same for us in the forwards...a Chris Lawrence type.Another roosters cast off. We don't need another one of these...will probably have Fonua/marsters in the back row along with Chee Kam before next year ends.Got Garner as well Matterson is 194cm and ...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Only two ways it can end from here.. 1)Ciraldo gets the Panthers deep into the finals and triggers the Panthers Board(ie Gus)to reconsider his viability as an ongoing coach. This WONT happen 2)Cleary,currently on around $600k pa(after being picked up off the scrapheap btw),will contemplate a substant...

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Im starting to get very nervous that IC is surrepticiously engineering his own demise(which will be WTs as well).....some things just aren't making sense to me.. !)Corey HN,who IC coached ,snubbed WT for the supposedly cash strapped Dogs....hes exactly what we need, and frankly I was shocked that we ...

Re: Aaron Woods - Signs with Bulldogs 2018 - Sharks 2018 [Official]..

According to SMH ,Woods dropped $175k of his own to join Sharks(and we wld have matched Dogs offer for sure) Throw in lost 3 x $30k SOO appearances plus 2 X$20k Kangaroos...and that's just for this year.Expensive. Add in there loss of form so hes now warming the bench and more importantly loss of re...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Our needs are the same as they were 12 months ago... We still need a quality hooker that can play 80 mins..thats what Liddle was supposed to be.Farah/Liddle is an expensive compromise both financially plus wasting a bench spot.IMO Segyaro preferable to both We still need a big hard running back rowe...

Re: Coaching circus

IC is pretty much the only coach with the experience and most importantly the results that can actually work with Gould a very rare and valuable breed indeed.. Gould will probably get him sooner rather than later with a little cash splashed our way. McGuire is technically at least as good an option ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Think all coaches who are nemployed carry a little baggage tbh..as do most of the current coaches excepting Bellamy and Siebold
Need someone proven at this level, and McGuire with a premiership under his belt is THE standout.
Just hope he has learnt from the issues which caused his downfall

Gotta give credit to Bryson de Chambleau(spelling?)who donated his entire $25k purse from yesterdays PGA long driving comp to the Lyle family.Hes only a young man himself, but IMO hes welcome anytime downunder.

Actually I thought Pascoe was quite impressive, and so too Anthony Griffen(who I didn't really rate until hearing his well told story last nite)which were both a hard act for Marina to follow. And the gals on League life gave her a relatively easy ride cf to a Fox 360 pack of wolves Time well tell..."...

Its probably just me,but I was a tad underwhelmed with Go(yet again).I don't wanna play the sexist card,but...am sure shes a nice person, and probably very competent in the world of magazine publishing, but playing the "its unethical" and "hes a father ,Im a mother"to support her arguments just doesn'...
