Re: Rabbitohs Team..

Bunji torpedo bombs to Johnson and the wingers could pay big dividends.

Re: El Packer

He made probably the most important tackle of the match late in the game that saved our bacon and he got there despite huffing and puffing, having just struggled to get back in the line. He then sat on his haunches for a while whilst we prepared for the handover. Glad someone was watching the game ...

Re: Player and team stats from today

Farah is encroaching on Brooks's game once again. Brooks is quiet on the 5th tackle with only 60m from kicks. Farah doubled it and obviously he favours Benji's side because he got way more ball. Lots of Luke's kicks were short grubbers to get repeat sets (which he did). This means that Robbie chose...

Kicking Game

How good was it? It makes a massive difference to a team like ours. We need to build pressure and work towards tries through having the opposing teams make mistakes like in Brooks' try. Short kicking game was awesome. How many repeat sets did we get? I reckon the time Benji had off also allowed him ...

Re: Class is class

He was good my MOTM but still had some selfish plays at crucial times... FOX commentary (especially Ennis and post game Big Mal) was into him for going to Benji too much and not Brooksy. I thought it was a little harsh especially when Rowdy went off as Brooks didn't really have many targets after t...

Really big loss. Has been our best all year. Probably sees McQueen come in as well
It will be interesting to see what IC does. I don't think McQueen in a lock to get the gig. Maybe MCK to the left and Rochow to the right?

Re: **Live game thread**

Can someone explain the sign language Ivan was using on the bench at the end? Btw loved seeing him apart of the boys on the bench being able to talk to the players and ugh just loved it! "Focus" Its that eye test thing. I think he was telling the wingers to drop back and around in case os of a kick...

Re: Has this year been a success?

As it stands, overall, apart from some early defensive efforts, we have been an abject failure. On field wise, I can't agree with most of the comparisons with the last few years either. Taylor may not have been the best coach, but he and his predecessor in Potter were in a similar position to that ...

Re: NC worth a Million

Sign him and others will follow. How I view it too. I think he’ll be advised not to come here unless we have the forwards for him to play behind effectively. He would be impacting his own value otherwise. I suspect that a Packer and Mats were part of this plan and while their form has been down of ...

Re: NC worth a Million

If NC is to be paid as a top draw halfback at 1M per year, is he as good as other halfbacks on that coin? I am not sure at this stage of his career and I wouldn’t be comfortable paying that sort of money for potential. At this stage, I would put him in the Mitchell Pearce category - very good at clu...

I don’t think Lolohea has as much talent as some people make out...
Yeah - he strikes me as a player who doesn't play structure, more off the cuff and dangerous in a line that's been broken. At the same age, he is a bit like a poor man's Benji.

Any news on Reynolds?
Tigers website says “ruled out with a minor shoulder complaint”. Didn’t sound season ending from that comment.

Re: Your team vs Dragons

It’s not the team that concerns me about it’s the balance. * We need more minutes from Packer and Mats. Both are averaging under 100 metres per game this year (Rusty is around 75m). I think they are both about 50 minutes each as well. I feel that the bench does not offer enough in attack and their m...

He'll be in the 21 named today, and i'd expect him to make the final 17 on the weekend
It will be interesting to see what position he has if he selected. I’d imagine he will start from the bench and be in the back row rotation?

Does anyone what side he plays? Left or right?

Re: Lolohea off the bus

He always looked like lost lamb to me. He wants to play in the Iine but doesn’t possess the passing game for that and at fullback he didn’t have the motor and was often found out of position. I think he has the atttributes to be a very good centre. Runs a good line, can beat a man one-on-one with fo...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I would sign him for a year + 1 in Clubs favour...class player.. but yeah lets run with numpty's Yep - agree. I reckon you need to have long term plans in place. Everyone seems to be after the “Ponga” type signing. A young player signed for the long term that’s going to be the next superstar. Fact ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

It is very interesting reading the responses from the media story. Perhaps it is worthwhile to mention a few facts: 1) Ivan is at the start of a rebuilding process. Although his record is good, realistically, he hasn't achieved anything as yet at the Tigers. In an interview, he said we are a 3-5 ye...
