Re: Curtis Rona

I'm going to suggest it is extremely unlikely Rona will be here next year. I wouldn't be leaving the porch light on... Any other signing news. I wouldn't be expecting any more big names. Thanks Yoss but this is what I don't get - each team needs to spend 95% of the cap which is estimated to be $9.4...

No more Hoppas ever at the Tigers

Terrible player for Parra and Dogs.
Wouldn't say he is terrible.

Hasn't he racked up over 300m in a couple of games this year? I reckon he is solid without being spectacular.

Re: Thank you ivan

Agreed Ink. We cant have it all at once. Building attack will more than likely be a task in the pre-season but wow, have a go at the 'never say die' attitude and steely defence. If we bring that into 2018 we will be there or thereabouts. I truly believe Teddy is going to be a massive, even Woods. We...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I know some of the forum members have done their own calculations regarding how much of the cap we have used up next year but dead set we must still have around $2m available to spend I would think. Might be a little on the high side but surely we could grab a superstar or two if they became availab...

I have always liked the guy. If anyone is going to get the best out of him, its Ivan.

I think he could turn out being WT's long term FB. Classy kid and can play...

Re: Curtis Rona

Given he has just been selected to make his debut for the Wallabies I'd say our chances of getting him are blowing out. Who will he play with next year? rebels? Honestly plating for the wallabies is not what it used to be. Id get sick of losing all the time. Yep, it will be different with the Tiger...

Re: Realistic team list round 1 2018

Marsters is better than Miline I think but Miline comes from the bench for Dragons He does come from the bench for the Dragons but he gets very few minutes (last week only 2 or 3), so it makes it very difficult to judge his worth. In games where he has started or got decent minutes, earlier in the ...

Re: Tim Grant

Players like Grant annoy me a bit. They compete out of their skin at contract negotiation time and then go back to plodding for a couple of years. Very strange that his recent form has coincided with him wanting a 2 year plus deal. I think RP that Grant was carrying an injury earlier in the year,he...

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

Most importantly he is a competitor and will help change the team culture. He has off days but is a solid signing and should do well in a side with size and strength all over the park next year.

Has anyone got any up date on Suli and Idris. the club has been some what slack on any info. i know he is not are player yet but, anyone heard had McQueen went after his surgery. There won't be an update on Idris for a while. He did an ACL - 6 to 9 months I think. Not much to update. I would sugges...

If Hayne gets shown the door today and we don't end up with Rona would you consider signing Hayne as a winger?
Massive no, thinks he is bigger than the game...

Re: The Bus is FULL

Its definitely not full.

Apart from another back (Rona), we need a decent 2nd rower to complement the forward pack. maybe another seasoned prop.

We are on the right track though.

Re: Spoon, will it be ours?

At the end of the day, does it really matter? Doesn't change the improvement we've seen the last few months. Regardless of what happens we'll head into the off season better placed than the Dogs and Titans. Recent form is what matters, and we have run rings around those 2 sides. You base this predi...

Re: **Live Game Thread**

They played for each other and believed. We haven't seen that for the last 5 seasons.

I think we are still going to be finding our feet in 2018 but the mindset is going to be different and we are going to be a whole lot more competitive.

Re: Benji - official

I love the fact he is coming back but some of the calls stating he should be in our 17 is concerning. Will be great for team morale and nurturing the halves but if he is playing first grade, we aren't making the 8 in my opinion.
