Re: Round 6 spoilers

Most of the Sin bins this year seem to have been for players trying to stop the quick tap. And they are mostly all 'dives'. But even when they are not, what genius decided that the penalty for sticking an arm out or whatever from a quick tap (10 in the bin) should be so much more draconian than any...

What a shameful sin binning. The NRL is beyond a joke.

I am stoked, but I want Kev gone
Kev was woeful. But I have seen him bounce back really well after a shocker, so I will be surprised if he is not there next week.

Re: Noffa and McQueen to start in ISP

Trouble is, anyone who watched him last season knows he needs to defend better. Presumably that would have been the focus for him for the off-season. Can only assume that not much improvement has been noted, and that raises the question as to whether improvement will ever come??

Re: AN EMOTIONAL Benji Marshall has opened up on his rollercoaster rugby league career & the return “home” to Wests Tig

I was pretty happy when he left us; last year or two with the Tigers his form seemed way down. However, I thought he went really well for the Broncos in their semi loss to the Rorters and in one or two games I saw him play earlier this year. If he can bring that form to the Tigers there is no questi...

Directed the team well tonight. Ran often enough. Two try assists and a line break. I'd settle for that every week.
This is endemic as a tigers fan. We settle.
Wow what a ridiculous comment. why wouldnt we settle for those stats leading to a convincing win??

Re: James Tedesco...Contract Thread..

How many months did they need? The club couldn't wait any longer as the window of getting replacements for them was closing everyday. By the sound of it they had better than fair deals tabled to them by us and they know who the coach is now. If you love the club and your teammates you put pen to pa...

Nah don't boo him. just say nothing, don't cheer. Silence can be deafening Absolutely correct. Ive always wondered why when the opposition run out, why do we boo. Id love to hear them run out to absolute dead silence. If that isnt eerie and intimidating, i dont know what is..... Wow, thats a fantas...

LMAOO i swear most of the people here had a dig at beau ryan coz he used to do the same and called him a show pony anyway, i liked it too. If you can't tell the difference... Well.... Ryan was and still is a show pony... He played up to fans due to lack of ability. He hunted the cameras and was alw...

Re: Wests Tigers fail to learn the lesson of history

Did any of you guys join the "Dancers Club"? I recall that was supposed to be some sort of JV which would inject funds into the Magpies. I remember queing up to join and pay my $10 but that was it; never went to the club again and it obviously didnt help the Maggies financially. As far as Im concern...

Some good lines from Cleary, and I think he will ultimately be successful here. But its going to be a long haul and the next season or two are not likely to be very successful. We are looking at 2 years minimum to turn this ship around.

Re: Split the Big 4?

Do you guys think Parra and Canberra have been attractive options for players in recent years? Canberra is a hole and were a struggling team, and Parra have been a bigger basket case than us. Both teams have been able to attract very good players. No reason why we cant do the same. Canberra didn't ...

Re: New chairperson?

The fact that our CEO used the phrase "the big 4" is alarming as well IMO. Deluded club from the top down it seems. Was thinking the same thing. No room for JT on that pedestal it would appear. I cringed when he said that. The original big 4 were Smith, Cronk, Inglis and Slater. Thats an accolade e...

Re: Decent gameplan, terrible execution

Despite the clear size disadvantage, we've found plenty of ways to open them up. I don't think dropping the ball or not finishing sets off after every half break was part of the plan however. Our own worst enemies, once again. I think Taylor's substitution pattern has been better too but the injuri...

Re: The Big 4

I love this nickname "the big 4".... Brooks is decent enough but only an average half by NRL standards, mainly due to his lack of involvement when the heat is on and poor work ethic. Moses has played maybe a dozen great games for us. He is not an 80 minute half. Woods is quality but gets lazier eve...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

The LIbs polices resulted in billions of dollars wasted on immoral/illegal detentions of refugees. Oz helped create the refugees by our policies in the Middle East for past 70 years. We also helped exasperate terrorism for the same period. Your ignorance on the matter is so great that its probably ...
