Re: Mason Cerruto & Brenden Santi

I seem to remember Cerruto having big raps on him, but from memory it was always of the Mullaney/Gallant sort. Is that a fair description of his talent? Not a big surprise to see Santi still kicking around either, clubs will always have a spot for a player like him, especially with reduced interchan...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

But will it change people's view in regard to life in general...are we going to be a nation of multiculturalism or will we be known as a nation who accept ssm easily as we have been man / woman married society since day dot.. In other words are we going to become "permiscuous" as a nation to other ...

Re: HAPPY THAT OUR COACH IS IVAN CLEARY

Has the referring standard declined or has the camera work got better. I think we are nearly better off without the bunker. Let the refs make calls in real time at game speed. Slowing the replays down to frame by frame speed is crazy. I also think the NRL has to start binning players who rush in an...

Re: who is the 2018 signing you are looking forward to watch.

A fit and healthy Ben Matulino. Very similar to Jesse Bromwich, just has to stay on the field. Having Tui sniffing around the ruck will be great to watch too (as opposed to Teddy only popping up when Woodsy has the ball).

Re: Naiqama - Re-Signs till 2018..

Geez you would think we signed him for 4 years to play halfback judging by some of the responses. He's re-signed for next year and he's generally played well all year without being a world beater. Next year if Suli and Milne are injured at the same time we'll be glad we can play someone like Kev in...

Re: Naiqama - Re-Signs till 2018..

Quality depth and can cover 1-5, has really ironed himself out second half of the season.
Regardless of others opinions of him, he's a definite upgrade on anyone we've got running around in State Cup at the moment. Happy to have him on board, suits the new direction we're heading.

Expecting ET and Brooks out for Littlejohn and JMK, Ava on to the bench.
Otherwise not a whole lot else we've got to offer :/

Re: Wests Tigers duo charged

I don't even remember McIlwrick's incident. The MRP is as much a lottery as the bunker is, it's ridiculous really. Chee-Kam's was penalty sufficient, and to be fair he's only missing a week from his record, but it's absurd that he's even on report.

Re: Um.. How did we lose that?

On the Tui-Nofo debate, Nofo was running off Teddy, which considering we run 99% of our attacking movements through him isn't unreasonable. Marsters was up running a decoy off Lolohea and so the depth was completely out of whack. Like most have said, if Tui looks or just double pumps, we probably ge...

Re: Chee Kam

It didn't cost us the game at all. Everybody clocked off especially Tedesco. Teddy's to blame for that Feldt try, he was nowhere near where he should have been. But, everyone is to blame for that one, we weren't exactly on top before the Chee-Kam penalty. We were clearly on top at the time both gam...

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 25

Plenty of size in the forwards, pity the halves are a bit of a dartboard. Are we poorly coached, lack discipline, don't have the cattle or all of the above

Re: Nofoaluma escapes ban..

It looked bad, but I think he was saved by the fact that it was from behind. He was hitting the back of the knees where they bend, not from the side which has caused all the drama previously. Not much in it though, would have been an absolute joke if he copped a week and JWH didn't.

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

Having only read the quote in an article and not seen it live, I was under the impression he was open to returning, not that he wants to. Spoke about how the club looked after him, so he obviously still has some affection for the place. I'm not going to begrudge a professional athlete moving to anot...

Re: Elijah Taylor option in club favour

We are getting there, Taylor just needs more help so he's not making 40-50 tackles per game. Hooth and Twal are helping sure-up the middle and Taylor is better used on the edge. No his hitups are not going to be gangbusting charges but he is smart and he does take some good options in attack. Did h...

Re: Aloiai

I think it'd be simplifying things to say he's an edge backrower, he was playing as a second lock while Taylor was at hooker and defending on the edge. His run through JWH and Cordner was on the right, he definitely has more than enough ability to play through the middle. He and Sue would provide gr...

Re: James Graham

Nathan Brown on NRL 360 the other night said they're not interested in Graham (though I think they'd take him on the cheap). He said they were after him or Matt Scott, but Graham didn't want to leave the Bulldogs so figured they're better off going for someone interested. Would've taken him here at ...

Re: The Bus is FULL

Off the Bulldogs forum but someone posted that BMoz looked like heading to the WTs but blew it when he asked for 4 years but we supposedly offered only 2. 2 years too many for my liking. Whaaa? While I wouldn't sign him for 4 years, 2 years with Brett Morris would be awesome. NSW winger has been on...
