Re: Salary Cap

I work in an organisation where position descriptions (in some cases) and the enterprise agreement are both publicly available, meaning you can work out the salary of many staff. Has never bothered me, and I don't know why it is so off limits in Aus when we can all look up what other sportspeople ar...

Re: America - Gun Control

I don't mind a conspiracy theory, but in this case there are a few relevant points. As Willow and Abe seem to know a lot more than me about guns, I won't wade into that. I do know a lot about 60 year olds, as they are generally amongst the youngest clients in my field. Someone who did this and survi...

Great to hear some positive commentary about the "Tigs", but couldn't watch it until the end without getting tired.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

I wonder if there are many or any gay people, particularly those in a long term r/ship quietly hoping this doesnt get legalised Not sure mate, i think gay couples have some restricted rights when one of them passes compared to straight couples. They don't count as next of kin. I don't know if there...

Same way you miss a bullet and say "phew".
He was my first choice a while back, but I think he needs a break, or a project like origin, to revitalise him.

Re: Another Moses headline

For a bloke with no heart he sure has a lot of "feelings" In other words, shut up you muppet. I felt he tanked in 2014 and this year too. Sure you don't mean around the dogs and another following the cows game in 2015 OMT? Nah FG, Around the time the move was on to get rid of potter. If you remembe...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we don't sign anyone until next year. Why not leave 2 spots for any players that want a mid season release? Parra are leaving a spot open for Semi next year I think that the NRL make you fill the 30 spots. Surely we can sign Ballin again and he can re-retire when s...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Just googled to confirm.

The other difference is the plebiscite is essentially a non-binding "vote" on an issue, run by the AEC. Not the ABS and Auspost.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

If the Government is not willing to put sufficient free-speech protections in place, and they have indicated they are not, then i will be voting no for my governement to pass this mystery legislation that they couldnt be botherd putting together before taking to the people. I dont think there is an...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Threw my survey out today after hearing the moronic woman from Canberra who fired a contractor over a "private discussion with her brother" where the contractor disclosed they were a homophobe. She went on to call Richard Glover a biased journalist with an agenda, the bloke couldn't swat a fly, I d...

Only problem with our recruiting is the height. Re: Matt Groat back in Tigers Colours (Easts Tigers)

Having said that, a general comment on the forum: It would be nice if we could make comment on those who don't come up to our lofty standards, in a constructive manner instead of sticking the boot in at every opportunity and yes, I know that we are entitled to post whatever we like within reason bu...

I have a rooster's jumper in my bathroom for when the roll is empty and there are no spares.
I would rather cheer for a malaria-bearing mosquito.
