Re: WESTS Tigers Team V Canterbury..

Sounds like Reynolds will be at hooker again. I hope I’m wrong as I think he has to replace Benji.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I don't understand why people don't want Granville.

Liddle is good, but not physically ready for 80 minutes. It's pretty clear we're struggling at dummy half.

Re: Good luck Chris

Tackled a lot better than Rochow. Impossible to talk about attack because we never had the ball when he was on.

Yep, as good as Benji was in the first couple of rounds, I think his time is up.

2018 Stats so far

Found some decent stats here: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/stats/players?teamId=55014 Few interesting things I noticed: - Brooks is 2nd in the nrl for forced dropouts - Thompson has the same amount of line breaks as Tedesco but much less errors - Benji has made the most errors an...

Re: Simon Dwyer

As mentioned, he was the perfect build for a back rower. I don’t remember him being quite as good as being mentioned here. Was big, fast and could break the line but I remember him having issues with his hands and defense. That’s not to say he couldn’t have fixed those and been an origin back rower,...

Re: Coach what is happening

To be fair, Aloiai was axed last week. Dropping groups of players at a time isn’t going help us win games.

Re: Lolohea

I don’t see a future for him here, he’s not fit/agile enough for fullback and he’s way down the pecking order for 5/8.

If Manly take him and pay his full contract, that’s a win for us. We could upgrade Heleta to a minimum wage top 30 contract and not lose much.

Re: Lachlan Coote

I read somewhere he was looking to return to Sydney. Thompson is killing it, but he’s been just as good on the wing.

Coote would bring a lot of experience and can setup tries. Would be keen if he’s not asking too much, not many Sydney teams looking for a fullback.

Godinet is absolutely useless. Does nothing but handicap the team.

Re: What to do with Grubby?

I think we have to play him where he is for now. Liddle is not ready for 80 mins, and Reynolds is far better than Godinet in that position. IMO it wasn’t Reynolds that stifled our attack but more the fact we stopped trying to attack in the second half. Brooks was untouchable in the first half, but w...

Looked pretty ordinary today. I think he might be stuck in reserves for a while.

Re: Fullback Recruit

I’d be signing Coote for next year. Has won a grand final and will still only be 29 next year.

Would probably have played under Cleary as well.

Tui's fitness is fine. He's fat, so he must be unfit
Whether it’s fitness or not, he’s too slow at the moment. Watch Thompson in the last 10 mins, still sprinting at the line while Tui is jogging to the line.

Re: WESTS Tigers Team V Manly

Like this side a lot. Before round 1 I wanted Tui at fullback but Thompson has outplayed him at full back and seems much fitter at the moment. Goal kicking is a concern though.

I like Sue on the bench and Twal starting as Twal can play big minutes and Sue will provide more impact.

Jennings would be good. Not the player he was but an upgrade on Naiqama. Can play both sides too.
