To be fair he was the most explosive back at the club and was stuck behind Jordan Rankin who's slower than a wet week. I'd have been frustrated too if I were him.

No wonder Cook went down, interesting running technique from Chambers https://www.reddit.com/r/nrl/comments/8p0jlz/will_chambers_knee_lift_into_damien_cook/?ref=share&ref_source=link How was that missed by the Refs? Is Chambers trying to take the mantel as Chief Grub for when the current Chief Grub...

Re: 2018 ORIGIN I *Live Thread...

Great tactics by Fitler to run on almost all quick play the balls. Really was the difference. Running out of dummy half is still one of the biggest attack weapons in the game. The Wests Tigers just wasted 3 years trying to prove otherwise Big difference from the old strategy 1. Pick a team 2. Lose ...

Re: Soccer talk and Banter , keep it all here

France got it wrong in the selection room. Leaving Martial & Lacazette behind is insanity in my opinion. They have a decent squad with a few absolute studs but I am not sure it'll happen for them. Belgium I think are a little past it now. I don't mean they are old, moreso, 4 years ago they were the...

Re: Soccer talk and Banter , keep it all here

Since there is nothing here yet, I figured I'd get in first with some predictions for the upcoming WC Winners: Germany Runners Up: Brazil Dark Horse: Croatia (Semi Finalists) Flops: Argentina (Round of 16) Player of the tournament: Luka Modric (CRO) Top Scorer: Timo Werner (GER) Young player: Ousma...

Re: 2018 FIFA World Cup Group C

I think we're a chance of getting out of group stage. Macca got a call up which is pleasing. Leckie not missing a match is crucial, he is the only player capable of crossing. Risdon has a decent cross on him too, I guess if we have Nabbout or McLaren up front it won't matter. Cahill and Juric are t...

Re: Soccer talk and Banter , keep it all here

With the new season upon us time for my fearless ladder predictions 1. City (they've spend a fortune on the defence, will be much better this season) 2. Chelsea (were streets ahead of everyone last season, CL will bring them back to the pack) 3. United (will improve, but maybe not enough) 4. Liverp...

Re: Israel Folua Poll

Wouldn't fork out the big bucks for him. He hasn't played a game of league in over half a decade. Sure he was good when he left, but his body has been conditioned and worked to play other sports, he may not have the same performance. Jarryd Hayne wasn't the same played when he came back and he was o...

Re: Soccer talk and Banter , keep it all here

I feel like Arsenal could be in for a shock next season. I don't think Wenger is the greatest manager anymore, but I feel that club has issues that run deeper than Wenger. A lot of Arsenal fans have the belief that all the issues with the club will be resolved when the man resigns, and now he's gone...

Here's an interesting article about the final round of the EPL: www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5713425/How-stake-going-final-week-Premier-League.html WHU owners will just waste the 14 million on someone who plays 20 minutes throughout the season Jordan Hugill perfect example , cost 8 mi...

Re: Your most unpopular opinion about league

Maybe not unpopular, but I hate players playing the ball off the mark and getting a penalty because the markers are made not square. I would change the rule so if an attacking player plays the ball off the mark then no defender can be called offside on the following play.

Re: HIA

Did Mitchell Pearce leave the field for a HIA last night and ended up with a peck injury ???? were the Knights out of interchanges at the time I thought I noticed their trainer tapping his head while taking Pearce off the field Pearce was cradling his arm, but the trainer called an HIA. I don't kno...
