Re: RLPA Awards - 2017

The voting system is flawed. The players pick the 3 best performers on the opposing team, so when teams come up against a weak side with a few stars like the tigers, the same players are always going to be chosen (e.g. teddy, woods, nofo etc). Whereas a team that has talent across their side are go...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

How does Fifi get away playing the ball like he does - i'm pretty much over league - its become a joke. I watch the odd game but i am no longer an avid follower of the sport.

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

The Sharks got some real dusty calls, but they are a negative and grubby team and probably deserved to get beaten. How gutsy are the Cows There were dud calls on both sides - one of the worst displays of refereeing i have seen this year. Most of the bad calls resulted in points to the other side wh...

Re: John Dallas Donnelly 1955-1986

I used to play with the Teachers Club in the late 70's and we trained in Lidcombe on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After training we would go for a drink at the Railway Hotel and Wests would always be there after their training. Dallas would always be one of the last to leave. He was a great bloke - hard ...

Re: Finals series 2017

Here is my take. Qualifying finals Sydney Roosters v Brisbane Broncos = Brisbane Broncos (Roosters have been down on form) Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels = Melbourne Storm Elimination finals Manly Sea Eagles v Penrith Panthers = Manly Sea Eagles Cronulla Sharks v North Queensland Cowboys = Cronu...

It would've been a disgrace if he got 5 weeks, absolutely no intent in it.
Doesn't have to be intent if the contact is with the head - careless and reckless.

Dogs for mine - they have got it all - cap mismanagement, coach losing the dressing room, coach and management at loggerheads, management in disarray with people quitting, disgruntled fans wanting blood, loss of personality players, coaches head on the chopping block .............etc etc

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED TODAY

If Moylan did happen to come to the club that would spell the end for Brooks IMO.He is in another class to Brooks . I probably agree with this. But who would be our half? Benji? Lolo? When Moylan plays in the halves he plays more like a half back than a 5/8. He always wants to be first to get the b...

Re: Gus' idea about concentrating on South West Sydney

Campbelltown is a long way from Wests Ashfield while they back the club financially basing themselves in Campbelltown is not a good move for the club. Part of a clubs function is its links to the community. Unless they up and move an already thriving establishment elsewhere, cant see them supportin...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED TODAY

Fwiw - the mole said that Sharks, Titans and Knights for Moylan. Reckons we have no room on the bus. Via his Twitter. I find it very hard to believe that we wouldn't have enough money left to get Moylan. I would have thought we'd have more left in the cap than the Sharks. My thoughts too. Here's th...

Re: MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED TODAY

If by some remote chance he did end up at WT i don't think you can have Brooks in the halves with him. He likes to run the show like Moses and Brooks would once again be playing second fiddle. Even at Penrith when he was playing Nathan Cleary often had quiet games while Moylan called for the ball re...

I think MWZ is as good as his brother DWZ. I think DWZ gets a lot of hype that really hasn't been lived up to.

What about Josh Jackson? Have we signed him?
With James Graham now going to Saints, the Bulldogs won't need to shed anyone else, so no.
How do you know that - i'm sure Graham will be heavily subsidised by the dogs.

Re: Soccer talk and Banter , keep it all here

I'm sick and tired of us trying to play like top European sides - hold and pass, hold and pass , hold and pass - build up from the back through midfield - we are not technical enough to play this style. We play our best football when we attack and defend with aggression. At the moment everyone is to...
