Re: cameron GRUB smith

Wasnt that a reaction to a spear tackle on him? Fair play, no problem. Would hardly call that a spear tackle. Precious Cam seemed pretty OK with the tackle that put Alex MacKinnon in a wheelchair so you would think he would be hunky-dory with the one the other night. He is just a cat. Typical cheap...

Re: Corey Thompson

Have we cancelled the Tuesday afternoon team announcement in 2018? Seems that way with all this rubbish about a trial side being the finished and final product. Ivan dropping tui to NSW cup and playing Corey Thompson at fullback shows that tui’s fullback spot is not locked in at all. David Nofoalum...

Re: Team Announcement – Trial Match v Cronulla Sharks

I'm not sold on Rochow - he was steady in the first trial but he is never going to be any more than a backup for injuries.

Re: Honest assessment on 2018

Just trying to lift the spirits of everyone To many negative people If the Wests Tigers supporters continue to bag our own team what what hope do we have What message is that sending to the star signings we are looking for All of my posts have been about trying to be positive towards the team I don...

Re: World Club Challenge

Typical Melbourne love fest - Cameron gets heavily tackled in a fair tackle and of course its a penalty. All the BS of cleaning up the ruck and the wrestle has just been thrown out the window with Melbourne usual lying all over the man, turning players over who are already on the ground. Ho hum looks...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

So who or what is "game changing" signing we are supposed to have that someone in here informed us about ?? I think that person gave a us a cryptic clue by say "I told give away half clues" .. maybe meaning its a HALF ?? Some people say its Ben Barba, but then others have said "he's NOT coming to u...

Re: Honest assessment on 2018

Realistically i can only see 5 sides that can win it - Melbourne, Cronulla, Cows, Rorters and sadly Eels. I think on our day we could beat them all. The other 11 sides will fight it out for 3 spots. I don't see us getting one of those spots.

Re: World Club Challenge

The WCC only started to boost the ESL standings. The top sides now draw good crowds and the game in England is expanding. Personally i think it has passed its used by date.

Re: Wests Tigers name five co-captains

I think its a great idea - should of had more - you could have the whole team to approach the ref to question his decision - i can see a Sparticus moment -

Ref : who is the captain
Lawrence : I am captain
Packer I am captain
Taylor : I am captain
Reynolds : I am captain
Marshall : I am captain

Re: Wests Tigers name squad for Cairns trial match

Interesting how 30 players are named With two positions available in our squad The 4 development players must be here for bonding Are they allowed to play if not in 1st grade ? Anyone can play in a trial... but yeah can't see all 30 getting a run....Is there anything to do up there in Cairns...? Ca...

Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

I seriously hope for Balmain (and consequently the Wests Tigers) that a development can go ahead and they finally get back to Rozelle. Balmain are only a minority shareholder these days but it's definitely better to have a minority partner that can contribute. My fear for Balmain though is, reporte...

Re: Fresh calls for NRL salaries to be published

I don't want to know players salaries , I'd be happy to know what each club's TPA's are I don't agree wit Paul Kent on too much , but at least you know if your playing a team that has spent 1.5 million more than you when playing them And reckon that Politis ,Thoroughbreds etc would lose the thrill ...

Re: Fresh calls for NRL salaries to be published

NRL made 3.9 million dollar loss last season and only 3 clubs were profitable Biggest problem is the cost of going to a game has made rugby league a TV sport If they can't find a way of turning the public's trend around in the short term they have real issues long term Cheaper family prices and dou...

Why would St Helens release Barba 1 yr and possibly 2 years earlier than his contract when he is ripping the comp apart.
He might have a get out clause if offered an NRL contract with an indication it will be registered.
Yea thats a possibility - hadn't thought of that.

Re: Moses Suli

Knew it wouldn’t take long before rothefield sticks the boot in. SINNER WESTS Tigers paid a ridiculous $1.3 million for rookie Moses Suli before he’d even played first grade. It didn’t work out. So they release him to the Bulldogs. Was it really necessary to then tell the media that he was a poor t...
