Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

For all you pro Balmain whingers - the original agreement when the joint venture started was that Wests and Balmain would maintain a team in the highest comp under NRL. Sheens destroyed that agreement when he convinced the board that all the Wests State Cup players should be included wit h BRET to a...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

So do most of the ISP games get played before the NRL games. Draw hasn't been finalised as NSWRL hasn't finalised the teams that will be in ISP.. The State based Underage comp U20's (formally NYC) must be played at the same venue as the ISP games..which means sometime you will get 3 games of Footy ...

Set your goals a little bit higher than CEO of a football club young man.
WHat can be higher than being the boss of the greatest organisation in the world!
A noble cause but one i'm sure you can surpass with the obvious guts to get ahead that you have.

Haven't been impressed with him at all - had a reasonable first game but done nothing since - normally a half or 5/8 playing out of position. Lot of hype because he is related to Michael Cheika.

I know its poor opposition but Milne does run good lines , looks powerful in attack and can set up his outside man - interesting times ahead.
Missed the game. Was he playing right centre?

Lodge is probably a 2nd tier contract. Let’s see how these teams go,money doesn’t necessarily equal results.

However does strengthen the odds

He is reportedly in their top 30. My point is how many chances do these clowns get - obviously a lot more if one of the NRL darlings want them.

Re: Mitchell Pearce

Amazing that Nikorima is in trouble just after the roosters have signed Cronk... uncle nick trying to free up some cap space again! Yeah, it should free up about 50 bucks, Not according to the rorters - they reckon he is on 350k - and Taukeiaho is only on 150k - laughable - the NRL is a total joke....

Satire it may be - but its interesting that all those whingeing didn't find offence in this sentence :

"Wests Tigers, formerly known as “Balmain Tigers” is a rugby league club based in Sydney’s rapidly gentrifying inner-west."

Pearce and Cronk NO THANKS. But is Thurston could be lured away from the cows.... You're dreamin, me thinks. Thurston will finish his career at the Cowboys. On Pearce, I'm pretty sure he said he never really wanted to play for the Tigers because of the shadow of his father - wanted to forge his own...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Will be interesting to see how the disciplined Cronk fits in with the Eastern Suburbs set not sure it will work. Certainly can't see him at the Sharks . It has to work both on and off the field. Cronk has bought a home in Mosman (which would suit him- he looks like a Mosman guy) . Mosman and the No...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Either way, the dominoe effect of where Cronk goes is interesting. He will displace one quality half at whatever club he chooses. That guy will then have to leave his club and the flow on effect continues. Yeah it'll be very interesting. If I were the roosters I would let keary go. Moving on club f...

Re: Teddy praises Cronks possible arrival at the Roosters

This whole Cronk thing has only highlighted what a farce the NRL and in particular the salary cap has become. How teams like the roosters manly and cronulla can be in the running to sign him is a joke. I personally believe the salary cap should be scrapped - the same teams will still end up with the...
