Great try JAC but I think his hand was touch in goal

Makes me sick too... Damn criminal
I'm not sure he would have been as good with us - he gets great ball and melbourne play for their wingers to be heavily involved - guess we will never know.

Re: Jackson Hastings

As much as we seem to enjoy Manly's implosion over all this there are umpteen things happening here that comes down to the Work Health & Safety guidelines. Bullying, he has been subject to unwanted harassment in the guise of pranks, the fact that the coach has demoted him is in contravention of THE...

Re: ISP Team Announcement: Round 8

Why release him then? It's professional football, not a charity and this significantly impacts on Brett Hodgson's teams chances in this competition Yep - its not as though he has secured an NRL contract - he is going to the side running last in Super League - the money must be good because as a foo...

Re: NRL Team Announcement: Round 8

Have we had a game with no injuries yet? Seems like every week someone is out.. Having Lawrence back is huge, he has been one of our best so far this season. Glad Liddle is playing was very worried when he didn't come back on last week. I think it might be a change in thinking - we are now giving p...

Re: Round 7 spoilers

How can you come out one week and put 50 on a team, and then face them only a few weeks later and be down by 20 at halftime.. ridiculous. Plenty of controversy at Manly this week - never does a team any favours - we should know. Not just this week - after the cap saga i read that most of their TPA'...

I am all for spreading games to regional areas, particularly as it is the heartland of participation.
Not anymore - country rugby league is dying and all the goodwill shown by NRL clubs will not save it - the NRL as an organisation has failed miserably in supporting grassroots football.

I think that if we played the knights game at Leichhardt we would have extra two points in our bag.
Definitely would have - this was a Campbelltown home game however - the NZ game was Leichhardt game. Its become a real farce - our home games are spread over 5 grounds this year.

Giving Up Home Games

Just wondering about peoples thoughts on giving up this home game to play at Tamworth - I'm over the makes us money and promotes the game rubbish - thats a furphy - we should be focusing on winning games and we are a better chance of doing so playing in front of a home crowd. Todays game would have ...

Re: Round 7 spoilers

Please. A. Kick is when the ball leaves the hands and contacts the foot. A drop kick is kicked simultaneously as the ball touches the turf and contacts the boot. That was a howler and Slater knew it Not really "simultaneously". The ball bounces. But most people agree ita not a try. Tedesco did it l...

Re: Round 7 spoilers

Unbelievable from the bunker.... Knock ons are ok if your attempting a kick He was clearly intending to kick so if you're allowed to drop kick in general play (and not only when attempting a field goal) then I don't see the problem with it. I don't know what the rule is about drop kicks in general ...

Re: Official Team to take on the Newcastle Knights

I thought "Huth" was an acceptable abbreviation for him. Not sure about "Eiso" - I am going to have to ask for a dispensation for having to type "Eisenhuth" every time. Either that, or just stop writing about him. Hoof is one part of "The Twuth" Alex Twal and Matt Eisenhuth Knights better watch out...
