Re: BENJI IMPRESSES TIGERS

I thought we all were agreed first time round that Benji was a 6 , not a 7 He was a 6 then but he's probably a 7 now. His best season in the relatively recent past was in 2015 as halfback for the Dragons when he finished 2nd in the Dally M count. Yes but he had quality 6's outside him in Widdop and...

He didnt say more accomplished They were accomplished, Suli is not therefore so by default they are more accomplished than Suli. Simples Ink. That's ok i know you just like finding errors in what I say. Whatever turns you on. Ive read it three times and fail to see the word 'more' before 'accomplis...

Re: Magpies to be 2018 ISP team?

Does anyone know who else is in the ISP squad. Website shows Heleta, Garner, Sironen and Tali. Gamble must be one. There should be about 10 more. Is there a list somewhere? Gamble is in the top 30 squad - as will be a number of ISP players each week depending on injuries. Anyone in the top 30 can b...

Re: Magpies to be 2018 ISP team?

I would imagine our 4 development players would get a run during the season as well - I think all are still eligible for u20s but have already proven themselves at that level.

Re: Magpies to be 2018 ISP team?

It’s great for The Maggie’s. I’m from the Balmain side originally. Genuinely happy that West’s get to have a link to there history in the ISP side. West’s almost went under quite a few times so I’m thinking that they understand Balmains plight. Magpies could of taken over the joint venture in a cou...

Re: Tigers legend backtracks to welcome Benji home

Agree with everything Elias said. Most of the people on here were glad he was leaving or dirty about the way he left or both. Once again, most of those people would be happy to see him back in the role he's been given. Plenty on here just want to stick it into Elias without even reading the story o...

Re: Tigers legend backtracks to welcome Benji home

Who cares what Elias thinks - He is obviously getting desperate - the media haven't been ringing him daily for a put the boot in comment on the mess the Tigers where in - now that things have smoothed out he has to throw his unwanted opinion forward.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Yes it would be great to have power brokers like Politis and Bouris in our corner .... But then again Top clubs don't give plodders like Tim Grant one year extensions in favour of the player .. Top clubs don't sign nevilles like Pita Godinet . We need to get smarter ! Actually hobbo if you look at ...

Re: Crichton to roosters

Anthony Seibold said on the news that Souths offered him $650K a season. Again we need to ask if that is salary cap or with any TPA's BT As I said just before , lot of good back rowers in the NRL and it would be doubtful he is in the Top 10 on that list Just my opinion This is exactly why the NRL n...

Re: NRL, RLPA agree to scrap cooling-off periods for new contracts

“It was the NRL’s view that once a decision is made and a contract is signed, it should be final, as is the case in other industries and professions.”

Its a good idea but is it legal? I would have thought any contract has a cooling off period unless waived by both parties in agreement.

You can not stop players earning an income from their own intellectual property.. Would not happen in any other industry... Thats just BS Geo when you have an 81 yr old granny stumping up TPAs - she says Foran was on her books for 3 years - doing what? helping her with the crosswords? maybe the kni...

from Wiki: In 2012, Moses played for the Tigers S. G. Ball Cup team, playing in their grand final win over the Canberra Raiders alongside teammate Luke Brooks, and was named the S. G. Ball Cup Player of the Year.[5] In 2012, Moses played for the Australian Schoolboys.[6] In November 2012, Moses was...

Re: Is it time to exactly quantify the players value?

Simple solution really - Make all contracts public - much like the NFL and the NBA.. make it start from a certain year, so it gets rolled in, and this way within 10 years the league becomes completely transparant, and this way players know exactly what they are signing up for before they commence w...

Re: Kent on Hayne

Everything you have written is as you have previously said " subjective". No argument, most things on this forum are subjective. Point being there are two hypotheses for why Hayne is reportedly on less money at Parramatta next year. One of those is a conspiracy theory involving multiple agencies, t...
