Re: Same old Tigers

I'm just so disappointed that a bloke with as much raw talent and as much experience as Marshall has, that he still plays like he's a rookie. And that just sets the tone for the whole team. Adios Benji. Thanks for the great memories from your early years, but it's time to put us all out of our miser...

Re: Marshall and Farah

Farah was the difference between us going close to the finals and going close to the spoon! Having said that, it's definitely time for the club to move on from both Farah and Marshall. Benji has played 6 decent games all year - the rest were rubbish. If he is anywhere near our team next year then we...

And yet the players say they love playing there.
But carry on bagging the venue.

Re: Hunt’s wife launches savage attack on his critics

By the same token, I don't really agree with jerks in the media putting the boot into the guy every chance they get. Most of these numpties have probably never laced on a boot, let alone played at the top level.
I'm sure Hunt knows he's down on form. It happens.
He'll bounce back.

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

First Step, Start making the Semi finals A work in progress Spartan. And you never know, we just might accomplish the first step this year. The facts are, though, that the Wests Tigers have made enormous strides forward in terms of becoming a financially stable and independent entity. Maybe not qui...

Re: Balmain v Raiders ‘89 grand final

I was in England at the time so wasn't heavily emotionally invested in the result. Couldn't believe the result though.
So many 'what ifs'.
Sometimes fate just 'does it's thing'.
Sad day for the Tigers faithful.
A lot of Balmain boys cried that day I reckon.

I'm not a huge fan of Lowe, but he would be a definite upgrade on McQueen.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

If what Pom said is correct (and I don't doubt it), the players we are chasing are still under contract. Obviously no announcements can be made at this point.
People are just so impatient.
Chill.

Re: Dragons hopeful Widdop will be fit for finals

I'm very confident. This close to a finals berth, there won't be any complacency. And the Dragons still have some great players in that team. It'll be tough, but we'll win.

Yep - good team considering the available talent.
Not sure whether Liddle will get a run. Doesn't look like it.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Surely we make a play for Barba Then move Mbye to the Halves with Brooks And add Napa to our front row with Packer Matalino and Twal Come on Make it happen Mbye needs to stay at FB - that's his best position, and he is starting to show exceptional form. Barba? Not so sure we need him now. Forwards ...

Kevvie will be absolutley no loss IMO.
He's lucky he's been at the Tigers because would hardly have played any First grade at most clubs.

Re: Cleary vs Paul Crawley

Im not convinced Cleary is revealing all but dead set Paul Crawley is a useless piece of rubbish. Paul Kent, Phil Rothfield, etc at least i can find a place for in the game, i mean i understand who they are and the role they play in modern Rugby League journalism. This guy on the other hand is a fa...

With Sue gone to the Dogs, we need to see some smart replacements for the spots we have available now rather than wish a competent player to retire.

Re: Will the Wests Tigers make the 2018 finals?

I don't think the NRL can afford to have Brisbane miss out. So I expect the Broncs will get every 50/50 call go their way over the next 3 weeks.
In short, I think we'll just miss it.

It's also a fair bet that at this time of the year, most of the forwards will be carrying injuries of some description. Russell may well be playing pretty busted.
