It's better than a movie ...

You know - we've all seen it. The one where the town is besieged by bad guys. They're being knocked off one at a time. It looks hopeless. Then ... The old Sheriff, recently run out of town by an ungrateful mob, is sent a telegraph. "Come back, we need you" He rides in, guns slung low, his jet black ...

Re: Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

Oh, and I certainly am not complaining - great pick up for us. FB has been an obvious problem for us all year, as has the DH role. Both 'sorted'. Now we just need the big boys up front to start kicking some butt again.

Re: Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

Ahh they’ve tried offloading Woods. No one wants him. Mbye is the only player they were really willing to trade that another club wanted. Parra wanted Klemmer, made an offer, the dogs rejected it, and I am sure Jackson would have attracted interest from quite a few, but the dogs chose to sell Mbye,...

True, but when I was making the list it hadn't been announced.
And I wouldn't make a decision on him until the end of the season.

Re: Wests Tigers sign Robbie Farah for 2018 Official

this has made brilliant reading! Hilarious. Anyway, to add my two and a half cents worth ... We had to fill one spot in the top 30 within the next 11 days. We had no hooker worth a crumb. We signed Farah for the rest of the season - both problems sorted. Good move. Oh - and how much is it worth in m...

Re: Mid Season Player Review

Off contract end of this year:
Felise
Grant
Godinet
Marshall
Naiqama
Sue
MWZ

The only player I would keep out of that lot would be MWZ as a depth player. You know what you will get every week from this fellow and although he is no world beater, he gives 100%.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Not overly enamoured with Esan. Solid but doesn't really look likely to break the line. We definitely need a sharp and elusive centre to complement the way Esan plays.

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

I think the back room is the one shining light on the whole of this season. Without knowing the actual $$$ figures and the actual nuts and bolts of the organisation, to me they appear to be doing a great job. The 17 blokes on the paddock are the ones letting the club and supporters down at the moment.

Re: What are your thoughts on signing Robbie Farah back?

Well, after that performance from the team, I'm not sure why Farah would want to come over, regardless of whether Souths were prepared to release him or not.

Re: Horror show..

Even when we were leading that game well into the first half, the Raiders were pouring up the middle. It was never going to end well. When MM went off injured, it just accelerated what was already inevitable. That was a shocker and the forwards (Lawrence excepted) need to take a long hard look at th...

Yep - Mbye to fullback and Farah to hooker. Two problem positions sorted for the year - maybe.

Re: What are your thoughts on signing Robbie Farah back?

R. Farah - probably the most polarising figure to have worn the club colours.
I was adamant at the time of the 'divorce' that he should go. To come back for the remainder of the season only - why not? I'm kinda warming to it.

Re: Bagging Ivan

People saying you can't criticise him because the squad is weak, but who put the squad together? I think he's done a great job, but for some bizarre reason, some believe he's above criticism. You have to remember, many of the players he has were already contracted. Secondly, he wasn't able to get e...

I can't see us going in to the market this year for a 9,
Liddle and Reynolds/ET will be filling the role.

Not sure his body would handle it either. Tough gig being a '9'.
