Re: Salary Cap

Thanks Geo, that is the way I thought it worked. So basically clubs that have good contacts in the big end of town have a massive advantage and of course most one team towns. Once again it highlights how uneven the current system i So why do the Roosters keep getting so much money? Cocanne this, Ki...

Re: RL World Cup 2017 Thread...

Two very good reasons come to mind. 1. The World Cup is for teams from Countries not for people within a country. 2. The Aboriginals are covered in the World Cup because they are Australians. This system is working as it is promoting unity and not segregation. That's why they don't have a team in t...

Re: RL World Cup 2017 Thread...

How come the Aus Aborigines don't have their team as well? Two very good reasons come to mind. 1. The World Cup is for teams from Countries not for people within a country. 2. The Aboriginals are covered in the World Cup because they are Australians. This system is working as it is promoting unity ...

TIGER TIGER TIGER sometimes people say stupid things and you have I suppose you think Thurston is crap too for the same reason well I compared Benji at the Tigers to Thurston at the Cowboys and guess what Thurston misses more tackles per game, makes more errors and gives away more then twice as man...

Re: Wests Tigers confirm 2018 home game allocation

Good to see Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle and the Cowboys taking the game to their regional areas. Maybe they just haven't announced those games yet. Couldn't imagine that they wouldn't want to pull their weight and promote the NRL in country areas. Funny how they are all one area teams. ...

Re: Salary Cap

I've never agreed on the argument about the unfair scenario for teams like Brisbane vs Sydney Teams etc. That scenario is one based on choice. The choice to keep so many teams in Sydney, the choice to not base a 2nd Team out of Brisbane, choices I feel the NRL must address if it wants to a stronger...

Re: Heartland needs love

We need to build a wall! !! I know it doesn't matter to you being anti Ctown and anti LO, but to some of us it does. That's all I'm saying. If Souths took a game to Leichhardt I reckon a fuss would be made. Well it's not the same, how long have Wests been playing out of CSS in some incarnation? Sin...

Can see maybe one more signing before round one. Need to target backrow and back-up fullback Out of the off contract list - JJ Felise, Tim Grant, Benji Marshall, Esan Marsters, Kevin Naiqama, Sauaso Sue, Malakai Watene-Zelezniak Esan Marsters would be top priority Grant has taken up an option for 2...

Re: Heartland needs love

What a rubbish article. The sooner we move away from being a suburban team the better. We want to be appealing to a much broader fan base than the local government area of MacArthur. Have you seen the size of the MacArthur area? Methinks not. It is HUGE and getting bigger every week. Wests (at pres...

Re: Salary Cap

If there are so many, third party deals going on would it be easier to get rid of them so every team is on the same page ban them if your caught out you loose all points for that season ,not just for major cap breaches It is an unreasonable restraint of trade to ban them. That is true - so there mus...

Re: Wests Tigers confirm 2018 home game allocation

Poor move imo taking one of our home games and making it a warriors home game.I fail to see how that will increase our supporter base or get us 2 points. I was hoping all the dumb decisions made by our board were over guess not. Dumbest decision ever - we owe the Warriors nothing. It has to be the ...

Well Mate, what can I say, going to miss your words of wisdom, only for awhile though. My Mother and my nephew both suffered from BP and Mum came good after a short period, my nephew is still battling on, but living life to the full. I am sure you will have a complete recovery, good luck and we'll h...
