Re: Campbelltown

Have said if WSS is locked in for Parra Eels with stands named after their players and with the Leagues club next door - it is a no from me. Don't care how good it will be and it is only up the road from me. Would rather ANZ with no atmosphere. If we had to keep one of our traditional grounds for a ...

Re: Tyson Gamble

What about trying Gamble in the centres ?? He's got speed, a good step and he's big lad, 6'3" nearly 100 kgs (so they kept on saying during the fox coverage) Look we shouldn't give up on this kid, especially after Sundays debacle - I still think he was used too early, but not many alternatives. Giv...

God's own country. Best collective lot of beaches on the east coast. Lived up there in the early 70's as I was in radio then - 2HD Good Guys in 71 and 2NX in 71 and then again in 75/76/77 - one of the best periods of my life. Lived in Gwandalan on Lake Macquarie for the first stint and commuted bac...

Re: Horror show..

Rochow missed Papalli. It is astounding that he is in the first grade squad as his missed tackles is extremely high for a forward and his effort and executionfor a player his size is poor That is crap. McIlwrick missed Papali, he was the one marking him. If he had made a decent attempt maybe Rochow...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

We need to go hard for Corey oats He is a great finisher Fast Very hard to stop one on one Can make something out of nothing Does the hard yards Plays 80 minutes Always looks dangerous with the ball Can our jump most players Has about an 86% tackle efficiency rate (bit low)but I believe his attack ...

Re: Campbelltown

I think the answer could be in the south-west, but it's not at Campbelltown. Perhaps a new, single home ground for the Tigers at Liverpool or somewhere in that area that is not quite as far from the inner-west as Campbo. It's a huge market in the south-west and abandoning it would be crazy. Despite...

Optimistic about Mbye, he has looked good this year in a godawful Dogs team.
We need more than Moses to save us, we need Jesus Christ as well after sunday's effort
Think he has more to worry about than the Wests Tigers.

Re: Mid Season Player Review

We've all seen enough to get a feel for the squad now. Popular opinion is we come up short in a few key areas, most noticeably centre and edge back row. Its still early days for a few of them but id rate them like this. Lock in - 1. Moses Mbye (fingers crossed he does more than Lolohea) 2. Corey Th...

Weve been given $58mill and no comment from the club? Pascoe would be shouting it from the roof tops!!
That's why I said I'll wait till it is in the bank before I get excited.

Re: Elijah Taylor

ET is a specialist lock can play no other position. He is a tackling machine who makes it easier for the forwards to focus on making metres rather than only defence. He can’t be selected at 9 ever again. He’s either lock or in NSW cup it’s that simple Cleary needs to select a side and stick with it...

I hope all the Liddle haters have read his stats .Also if Cleary had put him in ISP from the start he might have been readt to play 80 weeks ago we will never know.
Maybe there was a reason he didn't.

Re: Wests Tigers - a history of mediocrity

It was reported by AAP on the weekend that Wests Tigers will be granted 58m - this could be used to fill any shortfall for C of E. However we will wait till that hits our bank before getting too carried away. * Part of that 58m (if it eventuates) could be used to fund junior development etc. Have y...

Could not disagree with anyone more Silentio. Think you are talking a load of rubbish - probably to fit in with your own thoughts. This is the best Board and CEO we have ever had - Sheens / Cleary the best coaches. You are being totally unrealistic. Interested on what basis you disagree so strongly...

Re: To those who are blaming Cleary

I’m not blaming Ivan, apart from that forgettable second half yesterday, he has improved our defense beyond my expectations. Our error rate is the annoying part. We won’t win another game unless we stop the schoolboy errors. My view on the topic too. We are a dumb team at times which is beyond frus...
