Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

I have done a few reno jobs under BASIX and it is virtually meaningless. It should be the rule that all new aircons purchased must be solar electricity supplied. That is only starters but will never be adopted. That all new houses be limited to a certain number of vehicles that the roads can curren...

Re: Hooker Strategy

Play Robbie for 80 mins for the rest of the season. Play Luke and Josh in the halves, with Benji on the bench. If Robbie needs a rest Benji to 5/8, and Josh to no 9. Jacob to play big minutes in ISP , with Robbie being his mentor. Not sure where this leaves Mat. 2019 Jacob to start and play 80 mins...

Re: Wests Tigers sign Robbie Farah for 2018 Official

Left of Field IfFarrah goes ok for the rest of this season , he will stay on for 1 more , just a hunch Would likely cost us Liddle who is off contract at the end of next year. Agree - then we'd be stuffed in a stride. On exposed form, I don't think to many clubs would be lining up to sign a bloke w...

Re: Jamayne Isaako

He is a fullback, we have just signed a fullback for 4 and half years No we signed a halfback who’s learning how to play fullback for 4 1/2 years 😆 Well he will be better than the last fullback we got, he has been a huge disappointment. No he won't - we would have two chances, none and Buckleys.

Hi,
Coming up to Leichhardt Oval from Canberra for the Titans game, where is the best place to park the car?
Where ever you can find a space. Not joking.

I find Haberfield has a few spots.

for beginners like myself this tidbit from Warren is the best job description I have seen of DH which is why they are special -------------------------- .......... All I ask is keep him away from Liddle.
I just hope that Liddle recognizes the opportunity that he now has to, learn from one of the best.
Just as Cook has.
Good for you.

I personally still ask the same thing.

Re: Tim Simona

The NRL has given plenty of people a second chance for some pretty horrendous things. What TS did, was it worse than Lodge... What he did he will have to live with for the rest of his life and to me that is enough punishment to fit the crime. I would let him back into the NRL even as a player..Call...

Hasn't Taylor gone backwards! He obviously has not handled the change in position well at all. On the plus side, he did have a hand in all of Canberra's tries....
Lets judge him on his position - not the position he has had to play and doesn't like playing.

That might be a good idea heh!!

Re: Cleary v sheens

Ten years ago the crowd look like its from the 90s. 90's crowds at Leichhardt were a myth. We relocated to Parra Stadium because the ARL brought in criteria for acceptance into the comp that included a requirement for average home crowd of 10K (also minimum corporate facilities) and at the time we ...

Have said if WSS is locked in for Parra Eels with stands named after their players and with the Leagues club next door - it is a no from me. Don't care how good it will be and it is only up the road from me. Would rather ANZ with no atmosphere. If we had to keep one of our traditional grounds for a ...

What about trying Gamble in the centres ?? He's got speed, a good step and he's big lad, 6'3" nearly 100 kgs (so they kept on saying during the fox coverage) Look we shouldn't give up on this kid, especially after Sundays debacle - I still think he was used too early, but not many alternatives. Giv...

God's own country. Best collective lot of beaches on the east coast. Lived up there in the early 70's as I was in radio then - 2HD Good Guys in 71 and 2NX in 71 and then again in 75/76/77 - one of the best periods of my life. Lived in Gwandalan on Lake Macquarie for the first stint and commuted bac...
