Re: Moses needs to run the ball

I'd prefer to have the team structured to suit Brooks, get his passing improving, and then work on Moses. Currently, Brooks is making the right decisions but throwing far too many forward passes. There was a ball brooks played on Friday (I think to Lovett who then dropped it) which was just magic, t...

Re: To go or Not to go ...... that is the question ...

I won't be attending. It's been on my mind all week but I can't attend. Seeing all this crap being leaked to the media, Potter getting sacked then not getting sacked, editing video's as well as telling Farah not to go to the Presser but leaving him hang out to dry until he broadcast that message on ...

Re: Wests Tigers set to part ways with Mick Potter ??

Are the fans calling for his head? Are we really a club in crisis? The way I see it, we have a backline with an average age of 22, missing SEVERAL key players to season-ending injuries (and have done so for a long time), and are in a transition phase into Life after Benji where a premiership-winning...

Ayshford had the game if he was concentrating on holding that bloody ball.

Lawrence, Woods, Farah make City

Congrats to all three.

Gotta say, bit surprised by Lawrence. Is he really one of the four best centres in NSW??

I support my local team. What possible incentive do I have to follow a team that would become, geographically, the furthest away????

Re: Slow-moving search worries Elias

The irony here is staggering. We're too slow in hiring a coach, of which we only have 4 options, because we cannot afford to buy a big name. If he wasn't so slow in delaying the decisions on the redevelopment (There's no chance that building should go ahead in it's current design), we wouldn't be in...

Re: 2013 halfback

^^ Quite frankly, Anasta isn't that good. He has a good running game and is a good leader, but I can't see him being a halfback. That's never been his position. I kind of want to explore the option of purchasing a halfback. Miller nor Moltzen have the balls to take the reigns from Benji as we've alr...

Titans forced to sign new contracts

Titans forced to sign new contracts TITANS players may be forced to sign new contracts under company changes at the troubled Gold Coast rugby league club. Football sources suggest the club, which has new backers, will seek to change its company name. ``That will mean every contract under the origin...

Re: Parish boards pick for coach

I love how OP was against the Parish decision and immediately made the issue a "Balmain has no respect for Wests" issue. Sure confused me. It's the off season. Papers need to fill 6 pages of sports without any competition or results. I wouldn't be surprised if they contradict themselves in the next ...

Re: Vengence : Is that side dead ??

Yes we can. I think the thing we need to fix immediately is the mentality of Marshall. In 2010/2011, we had Lui. Whether you thought he was a good player or not, he was at least capable of running a game, calling shots from the play the ball, driving the team forward. This allowed Benji to play his ...

Why isn't Balmain using money from Ryde-Eastwood Leagues club?? I thought they were a joint venture, or is that simply to fund the NSW Cup team??

Re: Why are our memberships so expensive?

The price goes up by around $70 for the Gold, and yet we don't even get a cap this year. The members "pack" is literally a sticker, a lanyard for the membership and a "hand pocket scarf". I'm pretty disappointed with that.

Re: A new coach, the State Cup...and the future of WTs

Well said Ink. I guess this is kind of the end of an era. We had a bit of a disasterous start between 2000-2002, weren't competitive on the field, couldn't lure players to the club, teething problems with the joint venture. The Sheens era has been fantastic. I feel that he has brought respect to the...
