Re: Cleary's - "back to the future" prediction ?!

With this and Reynolds comments its possible that he may just mean we are going back to the future with our attacking structure and not splitting our halves.

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

Or has it? http://www.venuesnsw.com/media-release/nrl-centres-of-excellence-announced This release from the govt doesn't sound like its over the line. I'd suggest our bid was more complicated and needed time to refine. There's plenty more factors involved in our bid rather than just building an eli...

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

I'd be interested in knowing why out funding hasn't been approved? Does anyone know anything? It has been approved. Not $55 million but at least we've been given some money. No it hasn't been approved, 5 clubs had their funding approved, Manly and the Wests Tigers have had their funds reserved pend...

I wonder how much the PCYC and Canada Bay council kicked in.
I don't think it was enough as the Wests Tigers and Manly both have not had their funding approved yet. They both have to "further develop" their proposals

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

It sounds like the Wests Tigers to design a $57M COE with only $10M organised and hoping for another $10M from the government and saying oh but we will find the other $37M

Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

I think a fair few of us are forgetting one major thing . Any attempts to change TPAs will result in legal action by players . As far as I know they can’t be banned in any way, as it would be a restraint of trade . If things got really hairy , the players could torpedo the Salarycap as well, as tha...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

There is no get out of jail free clause in the bible for not following and respecting the rule of government, the bible states that the government was created by god and is acting on his behalf. That passage was written under the rule of the Roman emperor Nero, a man who set fire to rome and blamed...

Abraham, please correct me if I'm wrong, (for it was a long time ago,) but I'm fairly certain I remember from my catholic primary school days that God's doctrines was also to follow the rules and laws of the government of the day. I can't give a biblical reference, but I'm sure the bible is where t...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

The funny (or sad) thing is that you don't see the hypocrisy of your own words. According to your warped wisdom, its not ok for a Christian to 'discriminate' and not participate in a gay ceremony, but its ok for a Christian to be discriminated against and be forced to participate in an event which ...

Re: ANZ Stadium

During the time of the build the NSW Gov will be spending $200 Billion on Education and Health. There is no reason that a government can not spend money on health and education as well as improve infrastructure, such as stadiums, at the same time. Yes ANZ stadium could potentially last for a lot lo...

You all forget what Rod Hirst stated, they were not Peter's songs but his, Peter was mainly the front man as far as the groups was concerned. The problem I have is it was Garrett's voice singing those words and a lot of what he was saying I agreed with. I would find it hard to listen to him sing th...

Re: ANZ Stadium

I am bitterly disappointed this is seen as more important than more beds or quality teachers, even drawing down on the infrastructure debt. Agree CB. Imagine 2b into our hospital system. What $102B instead of $100B? While emergency departments are burgeoning and people are struggling to get beds in...
