Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I think it can be argued because what it boils down to is one persons opinion on another players worth. We all have the right to try and get the best deal we can for ourselves Succinctly put, yes I agree. Current system allows players to try and get the best deal they can negotiate, based only on t...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Not all income limiting interventions are deemed an illegal restraint of trade, Creating an even competition is a protectable interest to sporting competitions, because it creates a fairer and more financially viable competition. It would be fairly easy to argue that both the salary cap and a points...

Needs and NRL clearance, is that because they have been denied the chance to play in the NRL previously?

Re: BENJI IMPRESSES TIGERS

Tyson Gamble is 189cm. Why did we sign him? If he is going to have a future at the club, we need to get some taller outside backs. We really need our recruitment to look at player height more seriously and try to get our entire club all the same height. Maybe we can hook up a sponsorship with Stanl...

Re: BENJI IMPRESSES TIGERS

Ahhh, that's why players like Sterlo & Alf & Ricky were terrible ballplayers. Too small. Cronk and Thurston are shorter - must be among the worst in the comp then. Anyway, Reynolds is actually a good sized half regardless, I always thought.. My mistake, I always thought Reynolds was a short person ...

Re: BENJI IMPRESSES TIGERS

I see Reynolds as more Center then 5/8 because his biggest weakness is his throwing ball playing game. He is tough as nails, a leader, small and runs through gaps but isn't passing the ball enough and because he is small he needs to pass higher to get the ball received. Ahhh, that's why players lik...

Re: Open training session

I also went to see the boys at this training session. The gates were opened a lot earlier than advertised, so I was lucky enough to see them run some drills before they went into the opposed session. Liddle was wearing red bib, so assuming that means no contact, but still participated as much as po...

Re: Open training session

Just interested whether anyone attended the session today and whether there was anything worth sharing?? Yeah, I went down and had a look, I had my 4 year old daughter with me and she was a little excited so I may need help with some of the details. I was surprised when I arrived as they were actua...

Re: Cleary's - "back to the future" prediction ?!

With this and Reynolds comments its possible that he may just mean we are going back to the future with our attacking structure and not splitting our halves.

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

Or has it? http://www.venuesnsw.com/media-release/nrl-centres-of-excellence-announced This release from the govt doesn't sound like its over the line. I'd suggest our bid was more complicated and needed time to refine. There's plenty more factors involved in our bid rather than just building an eli...
