Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

You would think Paul Green would go with the same 17 that has got the Cows into the GF and have the mojo going at the moment. Could really disrupt team morale if a player is asked to make way for someone who has missed the last 18 weeks or so. Gotta keep the hot hand going IMO. Also a massive risk p...

Re: NFL 2017/18 Banter

Scott Norwood was the kicker in the first 1 or 2 Superbowls- he missed a last-play field goal attempt in one but after watching a documentary about the Bills of that era I'm pretty sure he was attempting his longest field goal of the season and it was an open-air stadium that night IIRC. Wasnt an ea...

Re: NFL 2017/18 Banter

Doesn't get any easier either, got Packers away next up. Well my Packers were terrible last night. Definitely decided to play in their clown shoes for that one :( Thought you were a Bengals fan CB? Bears fan here with a soft spot for the Bills, first started watching NFL around 1992 when the Bills ...

Re: Did we miss out on Des

In regards to Hasler I am glad we didn't have the circus that is Des come to WT. The scrutiny and expectation would be full-on and our club just needs to quietly achieve, improve and build in the next year or 2 without the hype and fanfare that would surround Hasler. Ivan has done a good job so far ...

Re: Rookies deliver in 2017...

Congratulations to all of our rookies this year, the most encouraging part of this year from these guys is that for the most part they all showed consistency of performance. That makes a refreshing change from past rookies (looking at you Moses) who played brilliantly one week and like pus for the n...

Re: Another Moses headline

Too old to be tearing strips off a self absorbed 22 year old who became carried away with his own publicity. We created the monster so must take some responsiblity. Lessons for all to be learned not just Moses. The similarities between Moses and his uncle Benny Elias are uncanny...both love the spo...

Re: Another Moses headline

I wouldnt be so sure Moses will go from strength to strength next year maxxy. He didn't show anything with the Eels that he hadn't already demonstrated at our club: the inconsistency, the occasional flash of brilliance, the shaky defence, the hit and miss kicking game..........that is the player he ...

I’ll be barracking for the Cowboys in the GF. I can never support those Melbourne cheats.
But they didnt cheat mate, just ask them.
They still dribble on that they did nothing wrong.
Up the Cows next week!

I'll be cheering for whoever is playing the Storm. Can't stand Smith and Slater, and Munster is quickly joining them.
Youll be on the loser then.
So be it if that's the case, would rather be supporting a team you want to win rather than being a bandwagoner who only gets on the favourites.

Re: Queensland Cup (contains spoiler)

PNG is far, far, far North Queensland.
Congratulations to PNG, good for the game I guess.
Wouldn't have minded seeing Sunshine Coast win after what that club went through with the James Ackerman tragedy.

Re: Why Sydneysiders should support the Roosters

If the Cows dont manage to win the GF then it really is a sickening selection between the other 3 clubs left, they are scum one and all. Hopefully NQ are there next week to provide some interest on GF day, otherwise it will be a case of who gives a rat's who wins. Cheats never prosper.......except ...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Notice JAC doesn't carry on with that 'my family in jail" crap liken he used to with us.... Part of a team there with a role to play as opposed to an individual with personal statements Professionalism Still makes the same blunders he made at our club. Costly. Can see him making an almighty stuff-u...

Go Broncos.
Have a win tonight or at the very least maim enough of those Storm maggots that they will be cannon fodder next week.

What do people think will be going through James Tedesco's mind this final series?
A light breeze I would guess?
His biggest dilemma tonight is whether to ask Bwaaiff or Mini to bring the fairy bread to the sleepover tomorrow night.

Bodene is solid, but we been there done that.

I think we should just hold onto the cash and see what happens later. Who knows is may help is jag a top class player for season 2019.
Next years cap money can't be held onto and spent in 2019, it needs to be used for next years squad.
