Re: Des Hasler to leave the Bulldogs

Dib called Woods on Tuesday night after the Bulldogs’ decision was made public to inform him of the coaching situation. - AAP http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/broncos/nrl-daily-live-rolling-rugby-league-coverage-from-around-australia/news-story/9230bdea5bf6ade1b5be7b4947d5d974 At le...

Jim Dymock should get the gig, he's a good coach.
Of what exactly? Has he even been an under 20's coach? He would be a massive stab in the dark by the Dogs IMO.

Re: Des Hasler to leave the Bulldogs

TBH getting rid of Des has probably made it a more stable club than if he stayed. The dogs don't stay down long. Spot on. The Dogs will be a stronger club next year without Des being there, they had become stale under him. With the salary cap situation, i doubt it. Their roster looks average. If th...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Hard to be critical of Parra this year from where we sit. Really don't get this mindset. That because we follow a team who has struggled, somehow means we have no right of being critical of other teams. It does not mean we forget where our team is at. People have short memories ,Eels last year cap ...

The cows drinking beers in the sheds, great to see Work hard, enjoy the fruits. Thought they'd lost being forced to stomach XXXX the poor bastards. Hemlock would taste better. Massive congratulations to the Cowboys, played tough. Stick it to the Rorters next week hopefully. Wonder if Ted will be on...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

As someone that has reffed the game I think what happened was the ref saw/heard the collision thought 'wow that was big' saw Oates not moving on the ground and thought 'oh this could be bad' he most likely instinctively stopped play for player safety, maybe even knew he shouldn't have straight away...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Hard to criticise the refs IMO, Oates was in a bad way and the collision was huge. People are talking about Penrith playing on, but what if Oates had broken his neck and the refs had allowed play on to score? They didn't know, it looked bad, so they called it up. Penrith had another 60 minutes to s...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

I have a feeling the Cows will get up tonight. Certainly hope so. Have a feeling Parra will be well looked after by the refs tonight though so it will be a monumental effort for the Cows to get a victory. The NRL would be hoping for Parra to make the GF, would generate plenty of interest in an othe...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

The SMH is spot on with this snippet of the article that you posted. It was the wrong call last night that completely changed the momentum of the contest, what should of been 6-6 was quickly 12-0 and the Broncos had the leg-up they would have wanted. Could understand the ref pulling it up if Oates w...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Don't understand why they had to... let the play go on and let Penrith put the ball on the goal line. 2 refs and an abundance of trainers on the field.. should be classed as just a normal knock on. Yep, horrible decision, Penrith got dudded massively on that call it was a game-changer. The injured ...

Re: Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Harawira naiera has been astonishlingly poor tonight. Everytime an error is made he seems involved Looked to have been carrying his dodgy knee right from the get go. Havent understood the hype around him as yet. Campbell Gillard on the other hand is a machine, was still going as strong at the end a...

Re: Sam mckendry

Too big of a risk IMO. Don't need an injury prone bloke playing in the most physical position on the park, we gave Ballin and Idris a shot and both gambles backfired on us. Sign healthy players instead from now on in. McQueen and Reynolds both look to be pretty likely of missing lots of games in the...

Re: RLPA Awards - 2017

I say it's flawed because in the team of the year, 9 out of 13 of the players were in teams that missed the 8. Also the fact that Teddy beat Smith to the major award. Neither of those points make sense to me. The highly likely assumption that opposition players view Cammy as a knobhead probably aff...
